    Map dimensions and cast ranges are simply numbers. Global cast ranges are achieved by setting the cast range to be a number larger than the map (ie, 99999). If a map was suddenly made larger than this arbitrary number, then the skill would no longer be infinite.

    Replace Torturer with Salforis(I assume his aura works on Kongor).

    All builds(except agi one) would be better off with 3 minor totems instead of the 4rth +3 stat item.

    I found your flaw, now I have the right to demand a full graph of every heros potential damage output within a 1 minute timespan at lvl 1 on kongor, right?

    603 starting gold cannot purchase 3x claws and 3x totems. 4x claws is +12 damage for 600 gold. You need 609 gold to swap out one of the claws such that you benefit from the +1 attack speed from each totem.

    I realized that Kongor question could be a bit tricky seeing as Kongor does an attackspeed reducing attack when more than 3 units are in melee range.

    Slither with his wards could probably do alot of damage. Replacing warbeast(And Salforis) with some ranged heroes(Like Slither+Silhouette or Torturer) would MAYBE improve the results.

    Haha another one: Lets say Valkyrie was standing on top of the CNTower replica on the land of Newerth, and threw her javelin down to the ground. Assuming that Newerth is identical in size as Earth, what time did it take for her javalin to hit the ground?

    (no items, lvl 4 javalin and maxed @ lvl 25)

    It's simple. First you find out how many pixels make up valk's height, then you find the average height of a woman (i'm gessing 5'7) and from that you can pretty much guess the length of her Javalin. Then you find the average weight of a Javalin (olympics) and that makes everything before that useless. k

    I didn't know the Olympics used magic homing javelins. Also ancient Nordic woman were probably taller than average American women.

    Using Gauntlet...
    Level 1 damage (no items) is 54
    Level 1 attack speed (no items) is 115

    8 damage, 8 attack speed -> (54+8)*(1.15+.08)/1.7 = 44.86 damage per second
    12 damage, 0 attack speed -> (54+12)*(1.15)/1.7 = 44.65 damage per second

    How fast in game units/sec is javelin? How tall is Valkrie hero model in game units? Give me these two numbers and I can answer this quite easily.

    • Valkyrie is 200 units tall in Newerth, 1.7m tall on Earth
    • Valkyrie javelin travels at 857.14 units/second
    • CN Tower is 553m high


    Solution:
    • The conversion rate, based on the height assumptions for Valkyrie, is .0085 meters per unit.
    • Valkyrie's javelin therefore travels at 7.29 m/s.
    • Per the kinematic equations for a uniformly accelerating body, D = Vi*t + 0.5*a*t^2
    • 553 = 7.29*t + 0.5*9.8*t^2


    Answer:
    • It would take 9.91 seconds for Valkyrie's javelin to reach the ground, assuming she threw it downwards.
