The same Valkyrie that hasn't seen a drop in pick rate since beta? I dunno, but FA hardly has it all.
There was a reason why she had her ultimate on channel.... She is just stupidly easy at the moment for the magnitude of difference she can make in any given game. Sure her ultimate being a channel was a down-side in her carrying ability but you don't see SS spawning ghosts to do his bidding (by that I mean casting the demon hands and his ultimate). Also, S2 is not fixing the bug where she can stand atop her ghost and be untargettable.

He is hardly OP. His itemization is bad, his bullets scale horribly, his ult has a 9 year cooldown for what it does. His only saving grace is his shield. If his passive was based on all damage and not just base then maybe an argument can be made for him. As of right now, he is a 2/5 star semi carry with no defining qualities which would make him a better pick over almost any other ranged semi.

This. Gun Blade has one of the worst ultis in game, only really beating out Blitz and Armadon. At level 1, it's a 90 second cooldown, 1 second stun that pulls you too them, shred 3 of their armor, and deals 100 magic damage. On a 90 second cooldown. Valkyrie's E takes her out of danger, gives her an attack steroid, gives her movement speed to run away even more, and it gives those benefits to everyone around her. That's on a 45/35/25/15 second CD. Please, pray tell, who is Gun Blade better than? Draconis? They're about even. Flint? Flint's still good. CD? Even he is better.

You do know the ult might be sub-par in itself, he has other skills to abuse the position advantage it gives him? Bit like calling Pharaohs ult crappy since it does so little damage.
