Ok besides the comedy name, this serves a real purpose.
Item Name: Glowstick
Cost: 750g
Passives: None
Active Ability: Reveals invisible units around the casted in a 1250 radius. Units remain revealed for 12 seconds.
Cooldown: 1 Minute.
This is designed to be a permanent pack of dust of revelation. To save constant fountain trips and "oh **** I forgot the dust" moments. It is the same price as a bound eye, but it is not permanent stealth reveal and to balance this, it does not drop on death.
This would be a wonderful addition to the game imo. If your enemy wishes to play stealth, you can now counter it, provided you are map aware and clever with your reveals.
Permanent pack of dusts for only 750g? /:
Permanent.
That's 60 minutes~ worth o' dust.
I mean if you have scout in your ass you would use it alot of times, yes.
1200-1400g is a reasonable price.
If you want it that cheap lengthen the cooldown, otherwise jack up the initial cost.

Or maybe implement a modifier for items: lasts for <insert number> amount of time.

Oblivion staff + 5 mana potions
+5 damage, +0.5 mana regen
Active ability: Toss glowstick to target hero. 45 second cooldown.
Passive ability: You are revealed on map. Enemies can see you while stealthed.
Glowstick + Pacifier recipe
Active ability: all nearby heroes/creeps are disabled for 3 seconds while a clip of happyhardcore pierces everyones eardrums. Enemy heroes under the effects of Ecstasy will be disabled for an additional 3 seconds.

Relay Baton
Active ability: Gives target hero in melee range Relay Baton. Target hero gets a 50% movement speed increase for 10 seconds. 10 second cooldown.
why not make the Glowstick have charges like the Bottle, and gets refilled at the base?
