    In game guides

Simple question; are the in-game staff guides generally better than the top rated non-staff guides, or not?

Makes me wonder why we can't thumbs up or down the staff guides, it's like they're afraid people won't like them.

All guides that don't list mystic vestments and power supply (alot of them) somewhere are pretty bad. Nome's guides are especially bad. At least he changed punch dagger Arachna... I use the guides to quickly get relevant items, not how to play the hero, so the text is useless to me.
    Critique my guides:
    Plague Rider
    Glacius

IMHO, IG guides are to be used only if you made your mind in the last seconds on who you wanted to play in this game. I find most of them (including staff ones) pretty useless and often misleading, even considering basic item builds (no shrunken heads on carries etc). So yea, use them if yo have absolutely no clue on how to play a given hero, elsewise, I would really encourage any player taking time to read guides in the forums, as they take more dedication than a 10min IG guide to type and polish, and are usually more relevant.

Nome's arachna guide with punch dagger was really the best example of a fail staff guide, hopefully removed.
Check out my different guides, and leave me comments/suggestions and feedback !

Pyromancer core items according to s2 are sotm and spellshards.

Sorry but even in 1500 games those items are just awful
