What's the community's standpoint on this? For example, playing for clan X while also playing for clan Y. If the teams match up against eachother, the player could just choose the one that doesn't have a backup player or the one he'd rather play on.
Not sure where I'm going with this, honestly. Just an interesting question worth an interesting discussion.

Tbh this aint really up for any disgussion. No professional league of any kind have never ever ever, accepted a player to play for 2 teams(same game) in the same league/tournament/sport/e-sport.

yeah most leagues have rules against being in multiple teams in the same league

No way this will fly.
I would always play for a competitive team (CEVO, PoA, IDEC, etc) and then play with my friends in their clan for the occasional pubstomp, never went farther then that since it's hella shady and disloyal.

Giving that this a game in beta, I don't see a problem with it. Once this game goes live and leagues start to pop up it will be in the rules I'm pretty sure. I don't know about HoN League, but I assume its not in the rules right now.
