questions about succubus

I all, I'm not familiar with Succubus at all...couple of quick questions...

1) When Succy mesmerizes an opponent can you still cast AOE spells around the opponent to damage them or does that get you mesmerized too? I thought maybe AOE spells wouldn't get you mesmerized

2) Similar to question 1 above, when Succy uses her ultimate on an oppenent I noticed I can't target the oppoent to hit them but will an AOE spell damage them while they are under succy's ult spell?

1. Skills break mezmerize, completely break them. If you use an AoE skill, mez dissappears. If you right click attack them, you will take mez.

Mez has a few second invunerability period right when it is applied.

So if I'm torturer and an opponent is mesmerized and I happen to be near him with my impalement, it will take him out of mesmerize? Didn't know that...thanks

As for #2 above, I'm not sure why I wasn't able to target the opponent last night while under Succy ult....maybe I just misclicked....

Yup both correct answers mez has a few seconds if invulnerability on the target, after that you can cast any spell to damage them and break it, if you right click auto attack them, you will be mezed.

if she ultis a target you can do anything you please to the poor guy getting disabled.

I need to test this. I'm almost positive that I've used AoE spells and not broken her mez before.

Anyway, mez the opponent you don't plan on attacking and kill the other guy with ult/heartbreak.

They do work I've seen it done after the 1-2 second invul goes down

If I understood this right, you're meaning that you can't attack the enemy WHILE he is under the effect of your ultimate?

If I understood right, then the answer is because Succ's Ult is a Channeling spell. Therefore you can't do anything else than nothing until the duration is over, or you'll break the spell.

If i didn't understand it right, tell me.
