I just saw another thread about the flamboyant voice pack so I just had to make another thread about it....
The flamboyant voice pack in my opinion is not only terribly annoying and really not funny at all but it's kind of offensive.
I HATE when he says "Cherry Popper" and all that ****, the only funny one is unicorn stampede the rest is pretty unclassy.
Does anyone else just hate having to hear this terrible voice pack, I don't think I should have to mute the bad ass announcer's just because some little 10 year old kid thought it would be funny to buy the flamboyant voice pack. Let's be honest, the **** sucks, and there should be an option to turn off ALL alternate voice packs or atleast just the flamboyant one exclusively .
It's not anything against gay or flamboyant people either. I honestly think they would think the same thing its just annoying.
Everytime I hear cherry popper I cringe and turn down the volume so no one hears it. It really is THAT bad, I swear it's probably another reason people avoid this game.
Can we get some decent announcers please and stop ruining the HON experience with that lame ass voice pack.

it's not just about playing with "mommy" in the room. It's about any respectable human being who doesn't know what the **** HON is, is gonna wonder what the **** that voice is and why all the rainbows, it's just annoying IMO

Use a mod to change all flamboyant sound clips to the default announcer then.

Its as offensive to gays as hillbilly drunken master is offensive to rednecks. Personal taste, I for one love it. Find it quite funny.
It's definitely possible if you know how to play well.
I wasn't looking to get any concerned mods in here. I don't want to come off as a jerk, I love heroes of newerth. It's just annoying to me, maybe offensive wasn't the word I should of used to describe it because i'm not gay so I can't really be offended.
It's just annoying to have friends and family overhear it, I wish we could turn it off.
