No, when it shatters your illusion of safety, it is definitely scary. It basically drops the floor from underneath you. Things popping on screen aren't scary, but that feeling of your safety disappearing is definitely scary.Originally Posted by Loli

Extra Credits made a really good video about scary games, and how you need to built the "scariness" up, and then jizz it all over you. If you don't build up the scariness, and just get jizzed on, it isn't jizzy anymore. It's just air. So it sorta works like that ... analogy ... sorta.
