I was in closed beta and played this game fine. I upgraded to Windows 7 and installed a Nvidia graphics card about 6 months ago... and I encountered some problems. They seem to be getting worse with each passing day.
At random times, through out the matchmaking process my game crashes, the entire program closes and prompts me about saving the crash dump folder. While these files are .dmp, I have no way of opening them nor fixing the problem myself. When I say random I mean random. I get disconnected as soon as I get into a game (at the hero select screen) which puts me at a disadvantage b/c I can not pick my hero. I get disconnected during fights and end up getting killed as my hero normally walks back to base. I've gotten disconnected while a teammate is talking into his mic, often repeating the last 5 seconds of his voice over and over again. I've gotten disconnecting while casting certain moves (example Emerald Warden's Wolves).
Very frusturating as one would imagine. Today I played an estimated 4 games, in each game I was disconnected. Ruining each game as I missed the early laning phase, returned to the game underleveled and underfarmed.
I'd like to know if other people have DAILY disconnect issues. My screen doesnt flicker or go black. There's never any warning or buzzing noise. The game just closes on its own, at random times and requires me to re-load the game and match...
Does S2 know about these crashes? Its been going on for a while now.
