Hi all,
Why is it that so many people recommend Mock of Brialliance for Sand Wraith over other items like Shield Breaker? In a non EM game it seems so hard for the brittle Sand Wraith to farm towards the Mock because he needs to get 3800 and in the meantime is giving up other items that could provide stats to him. Perhaps, I'm just a poor farmer, but up against a good player who can deny well, it's terribly hard for me to farm towards the Mock. At least for Shield Breaker you can get the first item at 1600 for it. Thanks for any advice...
You don't want to go for Mock unless you can get it in a reasonable time frame. If you find that you are getting plenty of last hits then yes, try to get it. To help with the last hits, get the logger's hatchet so you do more damage to creeps.
Mock will also increase your farm so if you can actually get it, I don't really see it slowing you down that much.
It transfers to all of the images.
When you ult, your images all get the desertion skill, adding a theoretical +55 damage. They all get the damage aura, adding another 40 damage. And finally with nullfire you add additional damage through manaburn, which makes your images do a lot during the fights.
With mock, its like dealing an extra 280 magic damage to all enemy heroes, assuming that the illusions stay on them.
The Geo is for the extra mana burn once you have nullfire blade. If you want to play Sand Wraith I suggest getting Helm of the Black Legion as your "training wheels" then get Mock --> nullfire --> geo. Once you feel you can stay alive in team battles and you're confident with playing the hero, you can get a couple of bracers and go straight for nullfire instead of HotBL.
Yes it does stack, for 100% returned damage and 20% aoe returned damage. Problem is that he lacks health for that to be useful until the late stages of the game. Once you have farmed your Mock it's extremely easy to farm everything else, sounds like you need to practice your last hits if you're having trouble ;p You should be getting hatchet on all melee carry heroes
Rule # 1: Avoid getting killed too often.
Rule # 2: If all else fails, cast first skill and run to trees/cliffs.
Rule # 3: HoBL is a very good "starting" item for Sand Wraith, boosts you regen and survivability, and Dissipate would be sweet.
Right now, mock is somewhat broken on SW. Mock's 40 MDPS is being reduced by the illusion 33% modifier. Pretty easy to see yourself in practice (give yourself a mock, use your ulti, see the enemy hero's HP drain much slower than if you stood next to them). Idejder has said they'll fix it.

Please test things like this instead of necroing a month old thread.
To answer the question, yes it is fixed.
