    Some hero picks.

So I have finally convinced some irl friends of mine to start playing HoN, but they suck lol. I am teaching one of them to support(I think he has potential, hes already doing above the average 1500 psr support! He even wants to ward and thinks it's fun )

So i was wondering, what is a good carry to lane with plague rider, so we can easily win our lane, I can continue to farm and he can start helping the other lanes?

Also, he always gets astrolable, but he doesn't know what to get after it. He doesn't really know how to farm, so he doesn't want to get sheepstick(too expensive). What would be a good item for him to get after astrolable?

Also a question he has asked me already a few times, which I can't really answer him? In the midgame we always get this situation like I'm farming, the team is doing something else, wards are already placed and lanes are pushed. My friend doesn't really know what he can do at that moment. He can't stack neutrals(he knows how to do it, but he didn't practice it enough yet). So what can he do?

    Thanks in advance,

EDIT: Can the titel be changed into: "Some questions." ?

    Sb+ plague a strong combo.
    He should gank.

Swiftblade is a **** carry. Chronos is my personal favourite because with his blink he can grab kills early game and escape if caught alone while farming.
After Astrolabe, depending on the game he can build survivability (eg. HotBL) or support/utility (eg. Tablet of Command, Nomes Wisdom, etc.). It all depends on how far ahead/behind you are in the game as to what he gets.
Plague Rider should always be busy. Warding/Counter warding, stacking neuts, denying creeps from the lane to bring creeps closer to you. He can also gank with his ridiculous slows and armour buff. Carrying tp's is a must because no team can afford to have a teamfight without their Plague. Also, just becuase he's a support doesn't mean he cant grab some CK's in an empty lane.

Plague works with almost any combination of melee carry + PR, with Swift being one of the best. Try to get him to make sure to absorb most of the harass that would otherwise be placed on the carry, by being aggressive and forcing the enemy to start attacking him instead.

After astrolabe, a decent item to get (if before 35 minutes) is staff, although I wouldn't recommend it as one rarely farms that much as PR and still has the game in question. If you're in a tough match, a good item to get is, imo bulwarks. His shield via 2nd skill gives 12 armor i believe, and to add 5 to your team, as well as 5 from astrolabe, really does make a huge difference. Make sure to have it in protective mode unless you are pushing. Another easy item is stormspirit. It comes in small, farmable parts, and can help get some cc. Tablet is another multifaceted item that a support can utilize. It can interrupt channels, push enemies into dangerous scenarios, as well as save teammates from them.

All in all, just don't get a pk when a GM is in the game

Me and my m8 just started doing swiftblade+plauge this week. Second try granted me (swift) an imortal. We allways win the lane, cause I just freefarm my ghost marhcers,, and wen they start comming near its slow+spin=death

    Else pred+plauge is retarded aswell

i play a few times + and won all games, because you can deni 2 bevor they are near opponents. and both has snare spell so easy kills, and the other are underleveld... its a nice combo too.

Yeah i was thinking tablet would be too hard for him. I made him get nomes wisdom or barrier idol if needed. Often no counterwarding needed in pubs. He can't stack neutrals yet, hes still learning it. Hmm, chronos is interesting. I used to rape with him but since the nerf i didnt play him nor see him raping any game. Is he still viable?

Stormspirit sounds good, didn't think of that yet..
Swiftblade is boring to play and a useless carry in my opinion.

Glad you liked the idea about predator
The cool thing about swift is that alltohugh he is a hard carry, he still has AMAIZING lane pressence, unlike other agi carries (scout, mb, crhonus, tdl, etc.)

Predator has good lane pressence aswell, but it simply cant match a swifftblade. And swiftblade can kill heroes that feond their own (ultimate), and he has a passive crit and free shrunken head thats why he is such a strong pick.

He is in my oppinion the best farmer in the game aswell, apart from tremble.

I'm sorry to say, but thats bullshit. First of all, swift is not a hardcarry. He can NOT match an evenly farmed chronos/predator/any hardcarry by far. Also this 'free shrunken head' stops him from being able to attack.(His spin does very low damage lategame and is by far not superior to a shrunken head.
Swift is also by far not the best farmer in the game. He cant farm ancients with spin and needs a runed cleaver to farm well. And tremble what? Tremble doesn't farm super fast either, just average.

Though its right he cant match a farmend chronus/predator, he will never has as bad farm as chronus, beuase he has more lane pressence, so he wil have better early farm, so he will get faster runed, so he will have more farm. spin slows him by -50%, but thats definetly worth it if you save 3900 gold on a carry. When he got the runed, he has the mana 2 spam spin, and his auto attacks from spin means camps will go down before spin is done.

Tremble can have 500 gpm without trying by sending his pet to the jungle while farming a lane or being usefull for his team. He is idd the best farmer in the game.

Are you seriously trying to tell me he farms quicker than soulstealer/forsaken archer/amun ra and heroes like that? Do you really believe that?

Yes. An autistic koala could micro Tremble and his minion and farm all game while never missing a fight.

ok 1st, sb is nowhere near best farmer. neither is tremble. in the situation ur discribing, ur tremble has to have a lane that seems easy enough to not even need shudder near u. ss is the best farmer in game. period.

on to ur post op. pr is awsome! remind him to deny creep at lvl 1 with extinguish. astrolabe, tablet, nomes, sols bulwark, and with enough farm get a puzzlebox let him get used to that item.

sb is a good lanemate, try not to get counterpicked :P most mates work with a good pr

Thank you. My friend can't even stack right or use tablet yet. I think puzzlebox is a bit too big of a step right now
Yes, I've already taught him to keep denying creeps every wave, before they enter opponents exp range. Sb is a good lanemate, but im looking for a carry that fits well with plague.

Sorry m8, you just asked for help and I tried to provide it. Its just my oppinion, but ss needs mana to use hands, and he cant be 2 places at once.

But nvm it, just pick predator and be happy, he is one of the strongeest mele carries atm.

Look, lets stop rageing shall we?

To add to the chronos pick, he has amazing synergy with Plague, if you manage to catch 2 or 3 heroes in the chronosphere, you got a won teamfight. Rinse and repeat, you got a won game

Teach him to stack asap, it's really a good thing to do when the game's pace is slowing down.

I'm not raging, I'm having a discussion, because I think it's fun and good to discuss this kind of stuff.

Yeah sounds pretty strong, but does it really work in reality?
Most of the times there will be creeps and stuff in the chronosphere too.

u can basically do pr + any carry lane. u can even do flint pr lane. pr slow, autoattack, flare after pr slow ends, autoattack. just think of some useful carries who can dominate at any game stage. i.e.
    :chro:()()

    items: :NomesWisdom::Steamboots::SolsBulwark::Hellflower: :KuldrasSheepstick::TabletOfCommand::BarbedArmor:: Stormspirit::Astrolabe:
situational (just tell him if hell need it) :PlatedGreaves::VoidTalisman::FrostfieldPlate::Bar rierIdol::ShrunkenHead::Nullstone:
    never get it: :SacrificialStone::RestorationStone::StaffOfTheMas ter:
