Hmkay, I do hope, if those girls consider themselves as gamers, that they are aware of that others don´t see them as gamers. If you walk around and start ´bragging´ (bragging about games, lolwut) that you are a gamer then they should be warned that they just aren't gamers, just casual players that most of the times hang out on facebook and sometimes turn on the xbox to play halo with her lill brother. If that is the case ofcourse.
I doubt that many people will "brag" about being a gamer ^^. In real life, at least. And who cares what people brag about on the internet anyway.
I have no freaking clue, but those girls bother me that say that they ar.... Ach laat maar... xD

A large majority of words in the English language have become so subjective they have no meaning.
It's just an attempt to bring those back to an objective reality. I consider them not to be gamers and so do a large majority of people. Does this make them not gamers? Yes, in our eye, and that's what matters is our own opinion. To say other people have other opinions and that words are subjective is completely pointless and obvious, we just have reasoning for our opinions is all.

Art, Music, Games, Gender; Anything with social context or created content has a grey area, which is a lot of things.
Standards are set by majority to keep things from becoming too subjective.
