If you pre-purchase you get to play in all the betas (like weekend betas). Are the weekend betas every week? If you buy the game on April 10 would you be able to play that weekend?

this information hasn't been officially released, but I have heard 3-4 (prepurchase) betas before release
After playing throughout the weekend beta, this game has underwhelmed me to the point of not bothering to pre-purchase it. Kind of unfortunate, but it's just not my style of game.

Got my pre-purchase for Ģ39.99 from play. I don't want to support microtransactions in GW2 so I won't be buying the Digital Deluxe edition for the elite skill, pet, and (presumably minor) advantage items.

Kinda disappointing that the pre-purchase doesn't grant access to a beta every weekend like I thought (which is the main reason I was gonna pre-purchase). According to the official GW2 twitter account, the first beta weekend only starts late this month. And from what I've read everywhere else, these Beta weekend events will only happen once a month anyway.

there were only 2 cbt weekends, and 1 of them was for press only.
so i dont know where you got the idea that every weekend people play the game.
