i'll be on Vabbi with /vg/ serves as good a starting point as any and nothing prevents me from moving servers in future if i see fit to change, that and if a friend rolls on another server it's just as easy to use the guest system.

for BWE3 i'll go Asura, leaving Sylvari for Release cause it'll be my main but with regards to previous BWE's i've experienced alot of Human stuff and i can say im definately going with the Sister storyline.

not really looked into Asura too much so it should be fun.

I have played the first beta, tried out WvWvW and tested some classes, but I have no idea on what class I am going to roll.

I really liked the warrior though my first choice was ranger, did not really play that well to me.

So what are you guys going to play?

try other classes out, i found myself not wanting to even bother with the Engineer/Thief but when i played them i enjoyed them immensly.

i'll be maining a Guardian, the amount of bro-tier things a Guardian can do just fits my playstyle perfectly.

Ranger's main letdown is the pet, the AI for them is pretty retarded to be fair, Anet really need to work their ass off and fix them or remove them and give rangers another class specific skill.

as for classes to play i'd suggest Engineer, the class has alot of diversity, just make sure you pick up the Kit abilities and test them out as this is the main advantage of the Engineer, my personal favourite being the Grenade kit.

also as a general tip, especially for something AoE heavy like the grenade kit or Elementalist, in the options you'll find a box that enables spells to be cast on mouse cursor rather than having to aim them, i strongly advise using this and getting used to how it works, it makes AoE attacks alot easier to control.

Going to pre order tomorrow. Been super excited about this game for about 2 months now. Just bought a new computer to play it. Gonna play a Charr warrior or engineer(still stuck between them). The dynamic event system sounds absolutely ridiculous.

I'm going to really buckle down with a mesmer or elementalist during the event as casters are still the only one I haven't given a proper run at in pve and both kinds of pvp.

I really hope that the thief downed state has been nerfed a bit. It was incredibly ridiculous trying to finish off a thief in Pvp...

people just need to learn not to use the finishing move on a thief, no doubt the amount of stealth will be nerfed at one point, but theres nothing stopping people from just beating them down slowly.

So who is all going to be playing this weekend? I tried a Human Thief last time. I will probably try an Asura Guardian this time. Have always planned to go with a Sylvari Ranger at full release!

Sylvari will be born at Dawn.
