Am I suppose to see Invisible Heroes running away? I was playing earlier today, was chasing Madman ,but then he went invisible. For some reason I could track him down because there was a "red glowy aura" running around with the sound of a "heartbeat". Never noticed that before, was it always a game mechanic or someone in my team using some kind of hack?
it is bloodhunters skill, you still cant attack them if they are invis though, you just know where they are.
It's not a spell, its a passive. It allows him to follow heroes that have low health, also enhancing his movement speed. Great chasing skill.
Actually, it's a tracking spell that only works when an enemy hero is below 40% hp. I find that getting the HP MP % mod as a .honmod and using that can be very helpful in situations where you're wondering how much hp you have. When I'm playing against bloodhunter and see myself under 40% hp, I quickly regen and run in a completely different direction to throw them off the scent.
At level 4, you can almost see the entire map if someone was under 40% hp, (with edges basically the exceptions if you are in dead middle)
Words of wisdom - don't go under 40% hp when against blood hunter, you WILL be owned.
Maybe of note to OP, aoe attacks still damage invis players. Anyone who can cast at area instead of unit combines well with bloodhunter's ability![]()
Hey, not every AoE skill affects invisible heroes. I'm thinking now of Valkyrie's Call of the Valkyrie. Also Javelin of Light doesn't stuns, altought still inflicts damage. Probably there are other examples as well, I'm just lazy to think.
I like the combo BH + Soul Reaper and specially BH + Sand Wraith.
Subtle difference between skills that are true AoE, such as Pyro's stun or Hag's batblast, and skills that will hit any valid target in an area, like that Valk skill or TB's chain lightning. Someone you can't see isn't a valid target for a spell, be it single- or area-targeted.
