I coded a little application so I can access the premium guides and the normal guides really fast. All premium guides and all normal guides are available. I'll update the application whenever new premium guides or heroes are available.
Dunno if you guys are interested in this, so i'm just sharing it with you.
Version 1.8
If you check "Open in browser", the guide to the hero you selected will be opened in your default browser.
When "Open in browser" isn't checked, the link to the guide will be copied in your clipboard.
If you check "Sounds", then there will be an announcer sound everytime you click on a hero pic or choose a hero in a combobox.
If you check "Advanced GUI", the pictures will show up.
If you check "Use own link", the application will search the links.txt file for the hero you selected, and if the file contains this hero, the link in the following line will be opened in the browser respectively copied to the clipboard. Following pic related.
Custom Link Feature (links.txt)
If you don't want to use custom links, just delete or rename the file links.txt.

Well, maybe it's possible to "copy&paste" the whole guides in a mod, but i don't think that this would be the point. It wouldn't be really comfortable to read the guides ingame. And if you have 2 monitors, you can play HoN and read the guide in the browser. Additionally, I've never developed any Mod. But thanks for your idea!
Neat... could you link to the 'normal' guide with most views for Heros without premium guides?
Great! Could be useful.![]()

so this is basically a third party program that does the same thing that bookmarking does in a browser....lol
Nice, but why use .NET?
Would love to have this program, but I'm not installing .NET (Mono) on my PC.
This program should be done as a webapp... or just in javascript.
i like the app, downloaded and will use![]()
