    Rhapsody Spell Damage Output

    Assumptions
Target will move unless pinned by Staccato.
Target is not immobilized by any additional means.
This means that Disco Inferno will not do damage without Staccato
Staccato strikes are timed such that stuns do not overlap with the 0.5 second linger from Disco Inferno

    Formulas:
    Staccato Damage = 40 + 60*StaccatoLevel
    100/160/220/280
    Disco Inferno Damage = 20*DiscoLevel*(1.5+0.75*StaccatoLevel)
The first hit from Staccato stuns for 1 second, for a 1.5 seconds of damage when counting the 0.5 linger of Disco Inferno. Each additional casting is 0.75 seconds of damage for same reason.

    Damage Chart

    Damage shown is after mitigation.
Maximum damage output for each level is highlighted in blue.

Actually Staccato and targettype type="moving" is bugged because if you issue a move command while stunned it still registers it as a move command.

    :/

So TL;DR the movement scheme is still abuseable.

Still, nice table :O. Maxing Disco/Staccato really depends on what type of team you have in the beginning.

So, element, checking if a target is moving doesn't actually check movement but active move commands or something?

Seems to me like you don't pick up Disco Inferno for Hero damage anyway. You can't gank with it, or harass in lane.

Staccato is your laning skill, Disco Inferno is your pushing and healing skill. If Disco Inferno ever does damage to a hero it's just bonus. May be occasional team makeups with long stuns and immobalises where this doesn't hold (getting it off under a Tempest Ult say, but for the most part Disco Inferno is for creep damage and healing.

Is this "bug" going to be fixed? Does this mean that disco inferno still damages heroes in tempest ult even though they are moving?

I've noticed something smilar happens with Myrm, I move somewhere, my hero gets stunned, then Carp hits me and stuns me again, even though I wasn't actually moving because I was already stunned...

    Don't know, up to S2.

And no, if they still order a move command they can avoid the damage from Disco Inferno

I made it, but its a moot point because apparently "stunned" doesnt count as "not moving"

Well, i kinda get the feeling the Disco Inferno since you can keep " moving " while stunned, and if your in it and not stunned when do you not " move " ;<? I suppose many people dont know this aswell as it might be good while pushing but still :/

    What about immobolization?

Same thing happens with magic carp. Not issuing a move command whilst stunned is a very difficult lesson to learn when you're instincts are telling you the opposite.

I'd rather say it's a dumb implementation of how to check "moving?":
I guess S2 just checks if the unit has the 'move' order and does not check for the 'Vector lenght' of the units movement if they would check that discoinferno would function as expected.

There is an entire thread about this not too far away from this one, appropriately called "Rhapsody's Arcane Hymn and Harkon's"

Bump, since this graph is now actually true, thanks to the recent stun bug fix for Disco Inferno.
