Hi all!
Simple suggestion:
Make buildings look more damaged as they lose HP. Nothing too fancy, but make them look more broken. Small fires? Holes in the walls? You get the point. Similar to Starcraft or WC3 buildings.
Maybe have 3 states:
- Above 50% HP = Normal model
- 25% to 50% HP = Slightly tattered, blemishs on the model or a hole on the side.
- Below 25% = Most damaged, small fires perhaps.
And of course here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
- Makes the game look better
- Everyone likes improved visuals
Cons:
- Increased memory usage for lower end computers
- Probably best to have this as option that the user can choose to disable
PS: Also some credit to Snus who made a similar post on the General Discussion forums. Hopefully he will look here and vote up!!

Yes. Perfect suggestion as is.
inb4 make <10% yet another model: NO. Threshold for deny should not be visual.
S2 Games: Dedicated employees serving dedicated gamers. Continuous development. Never-ending improvement.

Thank you.
You don't go afk during a round of HoN. It's that simple. You gotta take a dump, do it before. Phone rings, put in on speaker and place it next to the computer. Your gradma is at the door, you tell her to **** off. It's that simple.
I think building damage skins should be purchased through the goblin store.
Think about it S2, revenue, ability to further customize the game, usage potential in videos to glorify HoN's appearance.
I'd pay!
