Hi, tonight I'm gonna break through the 1500~ bracket and climb up.
What heroes should I be using? I'm not an big fan of Hag or Valk.

If you can dominate mid with a hero you will win 90% of 1500 games. If you belong out of the 1500 bracket you will get there soon enough.
Learn how to play mid well with a semi-carry such as Wretched Hag or Valkyrie, or even a strong ganker like Pebbles or Fayde. You'll be out of the 1500 bracket in no time if you deserve to be.

Skoot actually not a bad idea, one game our brown got skoot and he went like 22/2, he started to help with gank like at min 25, good skoot was good
Zephyr. Lane short lane or middle, farm HotBL and Steamboots / Phase Boots by 10-12 minute. If high burst damage, pick up a Shaman Headress right away; otherwise farm Mock and then wtfpwn their team. I got to like 1620 doing this before falling a bit.
