look i dont care about the fact that the money we spent on buying the account has already been spent but WHAT was the point in making a bought account if there's no privilege anymore...sure legacy players r a rarity now but who cares?i guess that the point of having a paid account is to hava advantage on other players...but the silver coins and now the free to play have proved me i'm wrong...on the bright side at least its like a socialist revolution in a game...like trying to make everybuddy more equal eh?...

Yo my FPS is dropping from 60 to 30 when ever my cursor lands over anything since they changed the targeting UI etc


wtf? how can I fix that?
can i get the old UI back with some ctrl+f8 command?

I definitely don't like the randoming not giving you extra gold anymore. =(

I can deal with all these changes but one: Why would you remove random gold from AP? This is bad.

"Early Access" is a joke. Either don't release the hero, or release it to everyone. We shouldn't have to pay gold coins to play a hero early. The coins system was great because it didn't actually effect game play, it gave no benefit to people who had coins, just cosmetics. People weren't at an advantage because they paid real money, and that was fair. Having limited heroes for free accounts is fair enough, as it's more of a trial account than a full account. But making people who paid full price for HoN when it wasn't free have to pay gold to play new heroes is really a step in the wrong direction and a very disappointing move. If they need money that bad, then this isn't the right way to go to about it.

Removing extra gold for random'ing in All Pick is also pretty lame, can we have a reason for this? I would think that the majority of players would rather have this kept in, and it seems like a change that should have been made to please the majority of players. It doesn't effect competitive play at all, so why remove it? Random'ing in All Pick was one of the most fun parts of this game, pretty sad it's been removed with no real justification...

The other content is great, it's just that these two changes seem to be negatives and are taking away from the experience we paid for and have been enjoying for a number of months. Please listen to the community here S2 and reassess these changes.

AGREE AGREE AGREE. It lost much of its appeal with the massive updates of new heroes that throw off the balance. Now this. It was fun while it last. Probably will continue playing until SWOR comes out... or something.

Off course we need to see their way of handle it, but asap I'll leave DOTA and it's kind behind and go for Diablo 3 xD

Early Access changes the game, as here MK requests a different tactic. He is not the non-plus-ultra though, still u pay for advantages (U wouln't get him, if he would be rather useless).

if you are a legacy account. you can play all heroes. monkey king is officially being released in august. early access just means ppl who want to pay gold coins. can play him now but it will be released to the rest of legacy who didnt buy it. in august. and honestly...that shouldn't affect gameplay they have all his skills readable.

F2P system is fine. It's good actually as it segregates the new from the old, stopping stat padding and keeping new players away from more experienced lowbies such as myself (players who aren't great but understand that game and will generally be hurt by a complete newbie).

It will attract new players and keep HoN rolling on = excellent.
However, the pay to play a new hero sucks balls. HoN's store was generally accepted because it was entirely cosmetic (except by self righteous dolts who believed they deserved free skins), paying to get heroes (even ones that will be out to the public later on) really gets my goat.
I generally agree with S2's decisions but this one just doesn't work for me.
