Yes, the concept is good.
No, and I stated why.
Introduction
Flux, a masterpiece in movement and positioning. With a basic but still unique first skill and an, atleast for me, amazing second skill the problem starts at his third skill, Polarity swap. This remake of this skill will not change its' core (Swapping polarities) but rather the side-effect, an effect already incorporated in Flint Beastwood. Before you go "Stopped reading here" give it a shot.
The Problem
The problem with this skill is that it is almost an excet copy of dead eye, except for the much needed polarity swap. In most or all build's I've seen it is always the same. 1 point in first skill maxing second and the swap ability from Polarity Swap. After that poeple might change their builds, but it is in most cases I've seen the slow/nuke that gets maxed afterwards. ANother problem is that it adds nothing to his first skill, nor his ultimate.
The Solution
Without further addo, here is the new skill as proposed:
Polarity Swap
Changes his polarity from pull to push and vice versa.
Passivly creates a polarity field whenever Flux casts a spell. The field will push or pull depending on Flux's polarity. The Field Pulls/Pushes at a rate of 80 distance per second and lasts .5/1/2/3 seconds.
The Polarity field have an AoE of 300 and ignores magic immune units.
Enemies in the field are not disabled at all
If this ability is active (on auto-cast/right clicked) the polarity swap will have 5 seconds cooldown, 30 manacost and create a polarity field as if a spell had been cast.
Cooldown: 1 (5) seconds.
Manacost: 0 (30)
This adds another "slow" to flux arsenal, making him more viable in the game. With this change a buff to Flux's attackrange would be suitable, making it 450 to start with.
Discuss please.
would his range still be increased by this spell or would his range be the same as a current maxed out polarity swap?
So you're talking about a Tempest-like ultimate (that doesn't silence/perplex), everytime someone casts a spell and a 3 second duration?
So basically Flux will nullify any nuker early or late game?
How OP and ridiculous is that?
1000 hours of DotA 2 already.
