    Slither Post Toxicity Change

I kind of took a short break and I haven't seen MSI/or any team run Slither in any honcast games at the moment. I can't tell if the prodex/guides have been updated to reflect the change so I was wondering what has changed about a competitive build for Slither. Still RoTT->Steams-> HOTB->nomes? Or is frostwulf ever somehow incorporated into this.

Slither is really versatile, so i dont think there is a MUST build on him.
Even tho i find replays at honcast very funny to watch I dont think you should copy them, its NOT their build that win the game at 1400 bracks.

:[ Why you assume I need Slither to get out of 1400s.

I'm just asking if the cookie cutter tanky slither build has had any popular change made to it due to toxicity change.

Personally, I've been replacing the Hotbl with an early glowstone then finishing the nomes before icebrand and ultimate orb to some success. And no not in 1400 brackets.

He hasn't been picked up as much lately, but FWS has been incorporated a few times, but more or less the same build as his issues (mana / HP) are no different.
    Critique my guides:
    Plague Rider
    Glacius

The way you gotta think of slither is:
1: when hes in a trilane he serves good dps but can go lvl in the woods easily if hes not needed.
2: as any other hero, the longer you stay alive, the more dps you put out. His ultimate is one of the most damaging, but is only good if u can stay alive to kill them. THats the reason hes build tanky

Nahhh...it's not 'only good' if you stay up....dump the ulti/spray combo, spread out a little toxicity/ward lovin, sometimes you will die and get a hat trick, other times somebody with better scaling will mop up. Slither's damage continues after death, that's why you can play her support-ish

That said, she farms pretty easy, get the HotBL/Nome's between wards, after that options are pretty open.

But what do I know, I actually get the Nome's first...

Any opinions on the RotT-> Steamboots-> Glowstone -> Nomes -> Icebrand-> Orb -> Wulf build up?

I'd recommend getting hotbl, and for late game luxury, geometer's bane or puzzlebox

one nice thing about slither is that he beats practically every hero in a 1v1 lane if you play him right (and really, it's not hard). With a hero like that, a fast hotbl can be game changing

I don't like getting any damage items on Slither, really. Get tanky, then help with wards. You're going to carry harder by being alive more than you would be getting some more auto attack damage in. I suppose Frostwulf could be an exception though, since it does give you a lot of health. On the other hand, he already has enough slow to kite people around.
