I think that towers dont need a buff in their damage, they already defend the lane from creeps well enough, which is what they're supposed to do, and god knows they dont need health when they already have so much armor and immunities. But i do think that towers should have something like 5 hp regen, just so that you have a reason to continue to defend the tower rather than waiting for it to get to bellow 100 hp for the deny. i dono, just my thought...
Hmm, why not just make the towers scale with game time, like the creeps do. Each 2nd minute they gain hp + reg and maybe more attack damage. But i support the idea of super tower mode, early pushes are too damn easy.
Why buff towers at all? We don't need longer games, they last long enough already imho.
It's a game mode just like EM. As with EM, it has opposition.
Either way, I like it and would support it's implementation. However, it shares the same problem as EM in that it isn't balanced. It focuses more on farming because the games tend to draw out faster. It reduces the power of strong pushing heroes while increasing the power of carry and tank heroes. It also provides little incentive to leave the lane due to the towers being so strong.
Nevertheless, if EM stays, so too should ST.

I agree with the idea of the OP. In games like Demigod, you can set the strength of the towers, which, while it doesn't really slow down the game much, it means players don't kamikaze chase people through them as much and they can defend for longer. A tower is there to defend, it keeps creeps away from the base and early on keeps heroes from pushing.
In Demigod, the towers also scale as the game proceeds, more towers get added, or different types, and you could also upgrade them with cash. It made the towers last a bit longer as a defense and be more effective, but the creeps would eventually overpower them.
I'm not saying make this game like Demigod or anything, but I think it'd be better if you had options like increasing tower strength and for them to get stronger as the game progresses and creep waves. The towers will hold out better against single heroes (unless they are fed and OP), but will still fall easily to a team push.
imo... towers need to scale up.

I think its a bad idea to implent a game mode like this cause it is a small change to just one building.
We have a map editor were we can create maps with better defense or stronger towers. I would go further and hope for different towers. In Savage 2 we had 3 different tower types. The normal one a stronger one with very short range and shield/heal tower that could give hp regen to buildings around him untill he is destroyed. (the stronger with shorter range would not fit HoN and make range hereos op)
I think a big problem with the DotA community is that they had only 1 map and want to solve all with mods or gameplay changes but here we have a map editor.
In Savage 2 we had like 10 maps and its very easy to make fast maps, long game maps, defensive maps, offensive maps,.......
Put it as an advanced game mode.
I'm sure I would use this a lot.
I think long lasting games where all players get to level 20+ with good items and having huge ass team battles are way more fun than ending the game after 20-30 mins when barely anyone has their first high tier item because the other team has much better pushing heroes.
So yeah, put it as an advanced game mode.
This will satisfy everyone.
If you don't want it, just don't enable it.

Yep AI of towers in HoN is not that good as in Dota.
And in old dota, can't tell for sure till what version - all towers and buildings had constant regen ( last towers had higher)

Super Towers (-ST) and Super Creeps(-SC) need to be put in game lol would be fun.
super towers could be only in base...towers out of the base should be normal.
so they wouldn't slow down the game at beginning.super tower should have HP REGEN,MORE HP and MORE DMG. but you would gain same ammount of gold and exp for such tower.
