If we were gonna see leaked shots from the Alpha, then they would of leaked around the time of the Alpha.

What makes me think this is recent is the fact Dota 2 is unveiling in afew days time, some system-engineer incharge of setup has probably snapped this when no one is looking, and bam, first leaked shot!

Not necessarily. The banner that was leaked yesterday has been around since alpha. Took a long time to surface, but it finally did.

I call fake because I've placed my faith in Tobi who I know would flip a **** if the UI looked like something as godawful as this. If the game UI was that bland, I can't even imagine what spectator UI would look like.
