Old but still usefull Program
DOWNLOAD
Description:
Tiny software that allows you to easily manage to create colored texts in every S2Games game.
Use:
The first textbox is used to enter a text, the 3 slider & numbers left side are to set the starting color,
and the other 3 are used to set the ending color.
After typing a text selecting start (from) and end (to) color press the create button and copy the text
from the result textbox and paste it in the game's chat.
EFFECTS ONLY WORK IN SAVAGE 1! NOT SAVAGE 2 AND HoN!
You can also add some effects, they will be added at the end of line, you can manually move them to the correct place,
and repeat the copy paste to savage.

I wish somebody coded a true UI mod that would output the code instead of having to switch back and forth.

without wild changing colors all the time in one way or another, the simple ability to set your font/color/format to regular chatting text would be the most practical. the various ways of color changing could be an selection out of the color options
A long time ago I wrote a similar albeit more powerful program like this which I never cared to release. Now thinking of it, it might be quite a nice challenge to create a real UI mod; and along with it a mod that removes colours from other people's texts as there is bound to be overuse :P
Nvm, there is a web application doing the exact same thing on the browser:
