Don't know if this has been suggested but just like dota there should be a mid only mode because the last 10 games (1v1) I've played, where it looked like i was going to win at least 6 of those games the other person tried to back door bottom/top when i specified it was a mid only game. When ever i tried to tell them i got some 12 year old remark back, for example 'stfu noob' or 'qq'. Dunno but anyone else but i find this extremelty fraustrating.
I have exactly the same problem. People just don't respect the rules, 'cause they know we can't do anything about it when they're sitting half way across the world. I almost snap when this happens (which is often).
I often hear arguments as: "Why should I regard the rules? There's no reason". That pisses me off. Of course there's reason to regard the rules, that's why they're there!
Anyway: A mid only mode would be largelly appreciated. It's simple to implement and would make 1v1 and 1v2 (possibly 1v3) games much more fun, and fair. Because, honestly you don't stand a chance in a 1v2 game if they go all lanes.
Way to implement is simply to add it to the "Advanced Game Options" (for now anyways, much easier) and the mode simply makes the side towers invulnerable and stops creeps from spawning at the top and bottom lanes.
It's easy, wanted (I have seen more threads for this, and my friends who play HoN also complain that the mode doesn't exist, since it's quite essential (In DotA, almost as many "-om" games exist as all lanes)) and would bring joy to a lot of HoN's players.
