Yes, having the wards scale as a percentage of Slither's damage is a good idea.
No, leave it like it is.
I just ready a post about getting rid of Slither's wards. In my opinion, that's one of his most fun skills.
Here is my idea for keeping his wards worthwhile late game:
I love Slither's wards. An easy fix would be to make the wards' damage be scalable with Slither's damage, maybe have each ward do 2.5/5/7.5/10% of Slither's average damage which would keep them useful late game...maybe increase the slowing effect a tiny bit and put a poison DoT on enemies based on the level of your Toxicity level and have the ward slow/dot and the Toxicity slow/dot stack ONCE (even if you have 5 wards the stack would be ONE from the wards and ONE from Toxicity) with each other.
Arachna has an all powerful Slow AND attack speed reduction with her web shot, Slither should at least be close to on par with that - with his being a less powerful Slow and a DoT instead of attack speed debuff.
Edit: As suggested...having the wards scale based on SOMETHING of Slither's that gets better as he gets to late game...AGI...Damage...etc.

It's a good idea. I support this.
As long as Slither doesn't get too powerful because of it.
But the wards are probably my favourite ability too.
Created by... well me. Click to see the related thread.
Another posibility is that the wards could reveal stealth for 2 seconds when they are dropped, or even having them reveal stealth for 2s, then not reveal stealth for 2s, then reveal stealth for 2s, etc. Since EVERY game has Scout in it because he's so OP, Slither could be a VERY good counter to Scout, like Pestilence is.
I wish I could add it to the original Poll...
I love this idea, especially all the different item builds this would open up. Rather than stacking attack speed/agility for your late game you could just get dps items like riftshards and shieldbreaker. Or you could make their damage held constant but their attack speed scale off of his for less spiking damage on things that just walk in, but more dps to hold a tower/lane.
well, the only potential issue with wards getting a boost in dps would be because it is quite spammable.
1 ward is worthless, but 10 wards is quite annoying.
