hmm... I don't want to be one of those people that just post something with the hopes of bashing S2, but this is kind of unacceptable for a game we practically shell money out for on a daily basis. And not small amounts. The only thing about the game that comes with the initial price is the game, and that's not really working at this stage. Even when it's working it's still littered with problems (cough cough MMR?! WTF?). I struggle to see the point of really wanting to play a really good game (and then paying for it), paying rediculous amounts for content, and have the game bomb unannounced or during play or just because today the sun seems to be shining in an odd way. Not worth it... kind of.
Maybe less new heroes and more working game?

Cooome on I work all day long and I arrive at home at 10.30 pm gmt+2 ... I hardly keep my self from playin HoN all day and when I come home I expect to play until I go to sleep at 1 am... Thats 2 and a half hours... so COME ON.. I dream about playing HoN all day.. just givve me back my game

Let me make something absolutely clear:
Most games NEVER and I mean NEVER have the issues this game has, and on such a consistent basis. If they do, it's immediately fixed. This is such a rag tag **** setup you've got here it's embarrassing. I went to school with the originators of S2 and I'm sorry to see that despite their success with Savage and now HON they cannot step up to the plate and avoid hours and hours of downtime and poor security / updates to maintain the game properly.
Dota 2 will BURY this game if you don't fix this **** NOW.
