It would have been nice if they gifted us some gold coins instead of merely silver coins. I was expecting more to be honest.
I appreciate the updates and info.
I also commend the herculean efforts of the S2 staff in trying to tackle multiple issues at once, all the in name of improving their fine game.
However, I am disappointed in the loss of the data. It's amateurish.
I ask? How big is the database? Even with as many games as have been played, it still can't be so big that a nightly/weekly backup onto anyone's given desktop is even remotely difficult. Space is really, really cheap,
I myself don't make any claims to be a computer expert. I'm not. RAID drivers are the devil, and I have had them flip out and ruin drives - I understand this much. I just can't believe that professionals would...
A)Not have external backups of all the data somewhere. With as cheap as space is these days, the opportunity cost is well worth it.
B)Not back up everything before any sort of hardware reconfiguration. I doubt anyone here would not back up anything they thought was important, to them and especially others, before reconfiguring hardware.
I realize no company, service, data storage method, is perfect. That's fine. I however, expect people to be recognize this and plan accordingly.

It's not that its not appreciated. It is, but it's just appeasement.
I don't care that a month of play got toasted. I care about what you are going to do in the future to ensure this doesn't happen. It's incredibly phyrric to play, knowing it may all be wiped.
What, if any, data back up are you planning to do to assure us that, our games count?
