    countering a blink team

what items etc make it easier to counte ra team with 2 or more blinkers. I had a rough time getting any kills in a match with a magebane hag and valk becuase they could out run / escape almost every fight we cornered them in even while slowed.

    stop picking scout

    Offensively: stuns/silences

    Defensively: hp, armor, magic armor

so basically if the team i'm with doesnt have a reliable stun or silence I'm stuck with really high priced items to counter it

Hellflower, Tablet of command, you could get a blink yourself, you could manaburn... there are a lot of little inefficient backup counters, but nothing besides a stun (and in PK's case, Mock) that will outright counter a blinker. Gladiator or puppet master or so maybe being an example, but again; no REAL AND EFFECTIVE non-stun counter. None like invis is countered through eyes and whatnot.

ok thanks for the info. was just a nightmare never being able to finish a fight against that team guess I'll have to just try to ignore ganking them and farm a really high farm item etc if I'm ever caught in that situation.

Hellflower is amazing for it and by far the best item. It's a longer disable and also provides damage amplification to pick them off before they can get away.

Mostly though just deny them farm. You aren't expected to kill blinkers much, but you need to make sure they don't get kills and aren't allowed to idle in a lane getting easy gold.

Small uncommitted pushes (either where they're farming or where they're not) are generally a good strategy against something like that.
"There is no teacher but the enemy. No one but the enemy will ever tell you what the enemy is going to do. No one but the enemy will ever teach you how to destroy and conquer. Only the enemy shows you where you are weak. Only the enemy tells you where he is strong. And the only rules of the game are what you can do to him and what you can stop him from doing to you."

wards doesnt really counter blinkers, especially not on a higher lvl than it counters anyone else.

but yeah kuldras and hellflower counters them quite hard.
also PK if you are a stunner will help a lot, with initiating on them and also chasing after them if they blink out.

By the ward I mean, you can see them positioning for the blink.
Or you can see where they are after wards.

Do not forget that you dont always need items to counter blink heroes. When ganking a blink hero try to have a hero with a stun/slow go 1000-1500 behind the hero before you initiate the gank. Then when you open the gank with a nuke/stun the hero will naturally blink away. If you are able to predict correctly where the enemy hero blinked he will blink directly into another hero witch will then hold the fleeing hero down wile you chase.

Blood hunter counters every blinker in this game, they can't out run him and they can't blink away or hide from him.

Currently my favorite counter to blinkers is to simply push. If they want to blink away let them ad just push the next tower and so on. Eventually they will have to stand and fight or lose.

Go with a team with heavy CC and push power heroes like:
(6sec silence)Polly and gank the blinkers a lot.

    and rapes blinkers.

Can't blink when stunned, so obviously chain them stuns. Heroes with silences can do quick work of blink heroes.

    Booboo+mock=no more pk.

Just for clarification would a blink team be like:
:chro: (Lots of instant-use escape mechs)
    or
(Heroes who use blink for positioning)

To counter the escape mechs it would come down to silences stuns and other forms off cc (one example i havent seen yet is )
For the second team it would come down to positioning and buying the right items (either magic armor/regular armor to ShrunkenHead/Daemonic)
