Error: Bad Data mixed with Login Failed: Connection Failed

Hello, it seems like I have a common problem, but I couldn't figure it out via the support or the forums.

Sometimes I get Bad Data: code-red: rs04, sometimes I get Login Failed, Connection Failed.
As per the support wiki, I have:

Disabled all mods

Turned firewall completely off

Allowed port 80 by adding a new inbound rule to Windows Firewall

attempted to connect to the master server (I can't)

and viewed my console after inputting http_printDebugInfo true and http_useCompression false

I didn't find any information on how to get a text file of the console log, so I don't know how to upload it to tools.heroesofnewerth.com.


edit: also, I haven't played since patch 2.0.33, but I haven't logged in to even start downloading the most recent patch. I did not quite have this issue when playing in 2.0.33, but i would get login failed: connection failed about half the time, but if I cancelled, and tried again, it usually worked.
