2 former best tems? 2 failures that not didnt get to dreamhack?
gg![]()
neither eg nor sk would pay for tickets for them..... dont think they get a lot of anything from their clans besides the nametag and being mentioned on their page
Why would SK want to pay for a team to fly to Dreamhack if they are sure to lose immediately due to no stable roster and little team practice?
sk doesnt really have a solid lineup, prolly costs too much for the organisations to send them over the world
SK would have lost first round against random locals probably.
roundtrip flight + hotels is way more expsensive that cross country flight + hotels.
It's alot of money to put down for a team that can choke or fluke out of the money.
The cost to send 5 na players to sweden is more than the 1st place prize.
Isn't the argument that the prize pool is too small kind of flawed?
So if the prize pool was bigger, what is there to say that, for example, EG would win? It doesn't matter then, does it?
* Isn't the point of organizations sponsoring teams to get the name exposed?
* Lets say EG were to place first, who would get the money? The team or the organization?
What's the point of having a sponsor, if they are not going to take you places and all you're gonna do is give them essentially free exposure. Seems pretty weird. S2 marketing style?
Look at Fnatic MSI, for example, they sent multiply teams of different game to Dreamhack and MSI also sponsored that HoN Get paid 2 play event on Dreamhack. I'm sure Fnatic MSI put more money into just that alone, than the cost to fly a NA team to Sweden including the expenses. But then again, EG and SK seems like joke organizations.

Even if they showed up its not like they would of won MSI is to good and the best team in the world.
I think the players need to demonstrate that they are worth putting money into.
