@TaeYeon: oh that's great! You could make the letters bigger so they could be more read-able in HoN, but it is still great keep it up!

I'm using GIMP too!
-> Make letters bigger:
1st way:
IF the background is single/simple coloured like this one, you just select the text as a square and use the "Shift+T" (hotkey) tool in toolbox (is about resizing)

I only used this tool and a big of "Sharpen" effect to make it more... sharp because of a short distortion.
But all photoshop programs have an auto-correction in resize so it is easy
2nd way (HoN icons):
The icons we want in HoN must be 128x128.
If the squared pic is for eg: 400x400, lets tell that the part you want to keep "bigger" is around 150x150 (LOL, bigger than the whole HoN icon)
So you copy the part you want in a secondary layer, you resize the whole picture in 128x128 and then you take the part you copied and resize it as you want in the 128x128 picture (without affecting the quality at all)!

->Gloss: Is just a white part of the "L" hotkey tool (Colour Mixing tool or something like that)
-Select white colour with the option "FG to Trasparent".
Practice with that. I add 1-2 straight lines on the TOP and BOTTOM of the picture with WHITE and 1 BLACK from each LEFT and RIGHT.

The Background effect i used in the 2nd picture is the "Supernova". you can find it and play with it in "Filters" menu tab->Light and Shadow (or something :P)

- Colors wanted: The same colours are fine, but if something looks better feel free to change it as long as the peon is still green
- Rounded borders: One of each so I can see them please?
- Icon gloss: If it looks better...
- Borders: No thanks, it has one anyway.
- Text wanted: If it's possible, could I have the words 'work work' put somewhere unobtrusive yet still noticeable?
- Others: That should be about it.

And finally with the words is there more of a 'durr' sort of looking font? And and and is it possible to have one work down the left side and one down the bottom?
