    How does one get to become competitve?

    Hello everyone, i just want some tips on how to move from playing casually to a more competitive way in hon. Im not really new to Dota/hon but i am new to how it is played competitively. I know how to last hit, know roughly what item call for what situation, basically most of the basic stuff that you must learn in dota/hon.

    This game seems amazingly fun in the competitive scene, watching replays in dota/ watching some fpvods/obing in hon and i wish to try getting myself there as soon as possible to enjoy the game more. I now want to step it up a notch and try to be competitive. Any tips on how to get there?

    only way is to find some friends to play clan wars against other clans. Save your replays and analyse it to see what you could have done better.

    One way is to play in some inhouse (IH) or pick-up (there's a thread in this site that lists many). If you feel like it you could also try to get vouched into some league, one of the only atm for HoN (at least one of the most popular) is I think http://honleague.com/

    Other way is to play inhouses with your friends, preferrably a bit more skilled than you are atm so you can try and improve your game.

    Work hard, play hard, blood sweat n tears type of stuff. Find a clan with a similar mindset, and try to get some clan wars in.

    After awhile playing pubs, you will hit a wall where you won't get any better.. Once you realize this, then you're about ready to find a clan for competition. Don't worry too much about losing, just keep your mind open to new ideas and learn as much as you can from those who beat you.

    oh if you look at my psr i really don't mind losing. ;_;

    i have a few friends that i can and do play with, but whenever we play the 5 of us, and get "stomped" by a higher leveled pub players, they get mad and refuse to join together again. I think i am at that wall your speaking of, or plateau. Meh

    Get a group of friends and start scrimming, learn something from every game. Win or loss.

    If you don't have friends, try your hardest and pick seriously in every pug you play. Add every competent player that you got along with during these games to your friends list. Start playing with them, and keep adding other good people you meet (that you get along with). Eventually you'll start playing with a group. Push each other to get better as you play with them.

    When HoN leagues start popping up, you can attract the attention of top players by either having a lot of skill, or ruthlessly sucking up to them. Really, get down on your knees and grovel. Leagues for dota were pretty much the same circles trying to swindle captain games. If you can get into one of those circles, you'll have a lot of opportunities to form or join teams. Also the general level of competency will be higher in good leagues and you can learn a lot from experienced players.

    Is there actually a way to view replays in HoN yet?
