Familiar names from DotA in the HoN ladder?

I have so far sighted at least "Levent" and "Chu1" on the first page:

PS. Sorry if a thread like this was already made (I couldnt find it).

    JohnnyUtah (aka Remstar)

I saw Emperor (from DoP) a long time ago, idk if he still plays

    actually, you'll see a lot.

in the $500 dollar tournament we have the old guys from Team Pandemic:
JohnnyUtah (EG.Remstar), AMXZaku, XSK_Samurai, and others

Also, the old check 6 gaming that won CAL-i some years ago: x6.Zujio (Zujio), x6.Suncrusher-, etc...

There's also the old dota team FFS (FreshFriFly and Levent), as well as an appearance by Loda in one of they many euro teams.

Emporer's team from Domain of Pain, and his teammates

Hell even Lego from IHCS, and d0t4bunny the MYM DotA tourmnament admin, (both admins of HoN League)

HoN is the future, plain and simple. Expect to see a lot of dota pros expanding to a game that keeps their skills on board, and has a potential to be the next biggest e-sport since Counterstrike.

dotabunny is the former MYM tourny admin, and I love when people (AKA Rinoa) say that way more professional players enjoy LoL over HoN. Every single one, including fnatic, DoP, PokerStars, and many many old IHL players play HoN, and few of them play LoL. I completely agree with Hunter on this, HoN is the future. What I like to think of it as is like Counter Strike. Dota is CS 1.6, HoN would be CS:S, and then LoL is Team Fotress 2. Similar concept, but looks like it was designed for pre-teens....

HoN, on the other hand, is the first generation of a stand alone game based on a million player plus community.

It's like a custom map that was a hit on a 7 year old gaming engine, to become it's own game and have monetary support from a company and have market potential.

Think of how big DotA is. Think of how big of how big a game with unlimited potential and a standalone marketable product will do.

I know many e-sports organizations that have hopped on board, as well as my own organization Check 6 Gaming who secretly has a team that will rename unannounced

Hunter, I'm not discrediting HoN at all, I'm just trying to provide a very basic analogy. Nothing more. I love hon and I would play it far more often if i had a team, and didn't have to play pubs with idiots. So hurry up with the HoN League, need actually non-retarded people to play with.

[FFS] isn't an old dota team. Only 2 or so of us knew each other prior.

Freshfry is old school dota, whether u guys new each other prior in dota as a team is not an issue.

On another note, I didn't mention the others that didn't know each other, and I'm pretty sure FFS just won a HoN tournament, so it further confirms my beliefs

Lol, the question is do people play HON competitively

There are a ton of tourneys for Dota, and how many for HoN? After all, it's still in beta.
