    blackAngel's BIG Combo Mod v1.4.9, tested with HoN 3.0.0.6


    Mods included:

    *little changes for making combo possible
    **had major changes/improvements.

    Further changes:
    *Added a button above the stats button to toggle the auto ability Queue-Label and rightclick to reset the Queue.
    *Changed the Missbuttons, so they don't cover to much from Bard's Team UI if set to low.
    *Orderbox (bottom right, contains attack, hold etc.) is togglable.
    *Kongor Death Timer like barter has for players
    *Day Night Cycle Mod: lets you rotate the sun according to the ingame daytime. Disabled by default. You also can set the sun to a specific angle in the mod options.
    *Added a "Practice Game" Button at login screen, so you don't have to be online to start a practice game.

    Note: Most Elements from Bard UI and Barter UI are movable and togglable. You need to reset Bard UI Settings the first time (Meaning start HoN, enter practice game and go to Options in the right top corner and under System press reset and restart HoN). Buffs and Team UI have to be positioned in Bard UI Menu.

    If you find any bugs or have some problems/suggestions/questions, please post in this thread. If I forgot to mention anyone, please tell me.
    But I won't make specific combos for 2-3 ppl, don't have the time, sry.

    Worst Case Scenario: if you have big problems, exit the game, delete mod, and rejoin. But you shouldn't have any problems, at least i didn't encounter any.

    Installation
    To install, download this file into the games folder game/ folder. The default locations for these are:

    Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/
    Windows 7: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
    Windows Vista: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
    Windows XP: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\
    Mac:
    1. Press Finder
    2. Press Applications
    3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
    4. Open Game folder
    5. Move file here

    Works good, but there is a bug with the Buff display. I think BarterUI and BardUI do cause a conflict here and so there is no working buff display, would be nice if you could fix that!

    read the notes.. you have to go to Bard UI and click reset where it says system, and then you have to position the buffs where you want to have them. just go to buffs and enable the buffs, and move them with the buttons/slider.
    if you don't reset, it's not sure if you have buffs or not and it'll be buggy. maybe I'll add some initialization, if bard's not doing it^^

    hope this solves your problems, tell me if you still have some problems...

    Worked for me, however the buff bars do not work (not my thing personally).

    Thanks for grouping these great mods.

    Edit:

    After using it for a few games, the buffs like to randomly turn off and will require a reset.

    curious. if one of these components get updated, and i download this package, it will still contain the older versions right? so you would have to be on the ball about keeping the package updated when the mod-creators update their component?

    Indeed, however I'm using this package atm and it still seems to work fine with 1.47 - though I have an issue where F is for some reason bound to my first ability. It's a little frustrating when, for instance, I'm trying to by something from the shop using the hotkeys.

    (Just to nitpick, these are mods or modifications. Apps or applications are external programs, but mods "modify" in-game aspects. In this situation the interface. )

    What this actually does, is it packages all of the listed modifications into one file. It is not inseperable per se, but it requires some skill and understanding to seperate (If you want to look into combining mods, visit MaxGhost's guide.) It is necessary to create these combination mods because some mods modify the same file in the game's directory and therefore clash.
    If you only want certain mods from this combination, have a look through The Master Repository.

    ohhhh your post has been very informative. thx for nitpicking too. i wouldn't have known otherwise.

    buuuuuut now that we have modmanager.... we dont need combo mods, but they can all be downloaded individually and separated at will?

    modman doesnt solve 100% of the conflicts of course.



    blackangel88, your changes are really good. i wish they were in the original mods

    Further changes:

    *Pressing Escape in the Main Lobby will put you to the Main Menu.
    *Changed the Missbuttons, so they don't cover to much from Bard's Team UI if set to low.

    *added a Label for the "lifetime" remaining for summons and other units with a definite lifetime in the Stats-panel.

    Yes, but the HoN ModMan does not necessarily solve all of the problems. Some people are having troubles getting the program working properly, and some people simply find mod combinations more convenient.
    Also, like you mentioned, in the case of this combination the author has added extras to the mods which are not readily available in the original modifications. This is another reason that some people mid prefer the combination method or using combinations.
    Personally I hope that eventually there will be mod support built into HoN itself, akin to the way WoW deals with modifiactions. That way using mods would be less troublesome and more accessible. However, we should keep in mind that S2 probably has other priorities.

    Hi every1^^
    Hon ModManager is a nice program, but not all mods are "mergable"... so i make my own combo and i use that. I try to keep the mods updated and change some things myself.
    if i find a new mod I'd like to use, i include it in the combo.
    This is just a mod I'm using myself, so it should be up to date most of the time.

    uhm... the first one should work without problems. you can just use that and my mod, no need to merge them.
    The second mod is for the standard scoreboard, but i use another one. the one in my mod is smaller and it should start "moved out", or save how it was the last game (not completely sure).

    Thanks for the combo really useful.

    I've got only 1 problem, i can't see what i'm writing in chat because the minimap cover the line (i'm playing at 1280x800) any way to fix this?
