    Lightbulb Multi-team map

    This is a rough idea for a multiple team map.


    • Consist of 5(including NPC team) different teams.
    • 5 heroes per team.
    • An NPC 'team' that just owns towers and a 'keep' & an influx of creeps heading to your base.

    How it works

    • Each base is elevated above the ground with only three ways out, two ramps that head to ground level, and one that goes to the bridge that is elevated above the map to the NPC base.


    • Now going across the bridge, is heavily defended by NPC towers, creeps and small boss monsters.


    • Once you get to the base, you need to whipe down the keep door and destroying the NPC baracks. And rewarding all your spawners to upgraded creeps.
    • Also NPC base will be split into 4 sections so that each section has an enemy NPC base for each human team to conquer.


    • Once you defeated the bridge, the baracks for the bridge will split the creeps 50/50 to each side to attack human teams.
      Now that you killed the NPC

      • Attack! bring your upgraded hordes of creeps against the two enemy bases they lead to.


      • The concept is to defeat the NPC faster so you have the advantage on creeps against theirs to push, once they do it, it'll be a stalemate creep battle again.

      The Map
    • On the map, outside the base your free to roam the forest, your able to go undernearth the bridges and go to any lanes on the map. Pretty much the other thing obstructing the map is the center mountain in the middle, which has all the baracks on top connected to the bridges
    • The map will have many neutral creeps to forest
    • Two areas for bosses
    • Many areas for randomly spawned runes/power ups

    i've seen this on WC3 the exact same layout. AoS Xtreme! I loved this map but it was to floody but if this can be put into HoN Sense ill love it forever.

    I made a triwar myself in WC3. Also had things like upgradeable troops. But the problem always was balance. It was 3on3on3 but you had 4 ways going out each base. This mean 1 team always got pushed. Was interresting yes but i would only like this now if it would be 4on4on4. Covering all ways.

    Layout was a huge triangle with 2 paths on each side. The mid was a place with creeps and a shop.

    Yeah, i'd think my map is a little more balanced with each team having 3 lanes.

    Nope, nor do i have the tools or skills to make such a great map.

    i like this idea...it woudl be nice for a change once in a while...different type of gameplay though. its more about pushing than the early mid and late games of HoN

    I like the idea of having a hectic map in the game... flooding the screen with creeps =P. Are you going to be able to dedicate any money towards upgrading your creeps to give them a higher advantage towards the enemy creeps?

    well, i was thinking on tower upgrades, more armor/faster shots, but i think upgrading creeps will over due the point of pushing the NPC base

    I love this and most ideas like this. More crazy maps the freaking better.
