okay so you join a game called <1300 psr or <1 K
you see a group of ppl locked on the left hand side with 1400 psr and 1.5 K(including the host) and you think..... "hmmm.... scam much ?"
any other tips for avoiding scammers ?
match handlers etc ?

Changed the title to be more informational.
Also, avoid games where the map icon is a checker board unless you want to play on the test map. Also, if you get destroyed, take the leave.
AVOID EASYMODE GAMES AT ALL COSTS IF YOU ARE AN ACTUAL NOOB, easy mode is a scam. its just quick farm mode and a death (which noobs do a lot) costs more
Sometimes stacked teams will only lock themselves once the game fills up, so it's not so obvious they're stacked. They'll all be on one side, but unlocked. Then when the game fills up they'll either try to start it with no auto-balance, or lock 3-4 people.
Your best defense against this is to not tab out or go AFK while waiting for the game to fill up, if you're suspicious that one of the teams is stacked (biggest hint is that there will be a bunch of unlocked people on one side)
This happens quite a bit. I have found a way to avoid this is when jumping in, before joining a team, ask if they are going to ab.
Usually, they will kick you if they aren't.
I like when they have one of their team on the other side, then move him over and hit start so it looks like AB. Yet, you look at the % and it's 80-20.. hmm
Best thing to do would be.
Develop insane honage-skills, ask your buds come over.
Pwn them.![]()
ohh here's a new one
get a few friends and have them locked onto one team
then get yourself a new account (1500 psr)
and 3 seconds into the game
disconnect, leaving your friends able to clean up in a 4vs5 match
neat huh
something really needs to be done about that bs, if a member of one team bails out, stats for the remainder of the match ought to go unrecorded.
it already says "you may leave without penalty" however this is not the case.
What typically helps me out in trying to decide if i want to play in a game or not is to check the kills/death stats, see how well the players are doing in terms of their game play, also make sure that you are confident your own teammate wont be terrible.
Installing Quick Player Stats in Game Lobby makes this alot easier to do http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/sh...ad.php?t=12193
yeah its a great mod tbh.
I tend to leave games that stack just before start simply because of the dishonestly
Avoid joining 4v4 games, generally it's because they only have 3 other friends on and they will stack the teams.
