    Spittlebug

    Speed: 305
    Range: 600
    Affiliation: Legion
    Primary Stat: Agi
    Strength: 20 (+1.7)
    Agility: 23 (+2.8)
    Intelligence: 16 (+1.5)
    ___________________________
    Role
    DPS, Hunter

    Story
The Spittlebugs are addicted to the nature they live in. When the Hellbourne arrived and started destroying their refuge they where mostly killed by them.

But one Spittlebug survived and determined to protect the last untouched regions from the Hellbourne.

    Visual
It's a bug you fool ^^. His rear front glow yellow before each shot. As his name says he spits on his enemies.

    Sound
    - not yet done -
    You can help me here.
    ___________________________

    Overload

The Spittlebug build up an immense pressure in his stomach enabling him to attack twice with one shot.
    Skill Type: Active (self)
    Mana Cost: 75/85/95/105
    Cooldown: 20 seconds
    Casttime:
    0.5 seconds
Once activated the Spittlebug produces a high pressure in his stomach to spit 2 times nearly at the same time. Due to the high pressure he has to build up before each spit the time between this double spit (his attacks) is increased by 25/20/15/10% and his movement is decreased due to the big recoil by 8% for 1 second. Overload lasts 6/8/10/12 seconds. When Overload ends the Spittlebug has to recover for 1 second rendering him unable to attack during this time.

    Use: Boosts your damage output.
    Balance: Balance around the numbers.
Notes: Once activated and you’re attacking someone you launch a spit directly followed by another spit with a very small delay.
Some math: Movement without 1 point in Nature Affinity will be ~280 when Overload is activated.
    Visual:
His rear starts to glow in another color before each shot (maybe red).

    Wings of Liberty

Even if he is ugly but the Spittlebug is able to fly for a short periode of time.
    Skill Type: Active (self)
    Mana Cost: 100
    Cooldown: 25 seconds
    Casttime:
    0.5 seconds
    Damage Type (upon landing): Magic
You lift into the sky and are able to fly across any terrain. Lasts 5/7/9/11 seconds or until deactivated. When Wings of Liberty ends or is canceled you instantly drop to the ground dealing 25 damage to yourself and 20/30/40/50 damage to enemies around slowing them for 1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds by 15%. During the flight your speed is increased by 15%, you gain complete terrain and unit walking but can still be attacked from any sources.
During Wings of Liberty you can't use other spells or abilities.

Use: Your escape and chase spell.
    Balance: Balance around the numbers.
Notes: You can attack and act like normal but can't use Overload in this form.
    Visual:
The Spittlebug rolls out his tiny wings and lifts of (flies above the ground).
    Comments:
Sort of Pestilence Flight ability but with unit and terrain walking.
    _________________________

    Nature Affinity

The Spittlebug lives in the nature and has faced many dangers. But those who survive them become even stronger.
    Skill Type: Passive
Bound to the nature the Spittlebug always breath fresh and clean air. Thus will reduce stuns and silence on him by 20/30/40/50% and increases his movement by 2/4/6/8%. Also your Agility is increased by 2.5/5/7.5/10% of your Int and Strength values. You'll also regenerate health equal to 1/2/3/4% of your Agility.

Use: Boosts your movement, survivability and damage.
    Balance: Balance around the numbers.
Notes: With Nature Affinity on level 4 you move without speed reduction while Overload is activated. Could add some effects here.
Some math here: At level you'll have 116 Int+Strength (before Stats and Items). This will increases your Agility by 11,6. With 200 combined Strength and Int your Agility is increased by 20.
    With 200 Agility you'll also regenerate 8 health per second (200 * 0,04 = 8).
    Visual:
Not needed – maybe sometimes one hear deep breaths.
    _________________________

    Reproduce

Spittlebugs are asexuel and reproduce themself when needed.
Skill Type: Passive and Active (self)
    Mana Cost: 75/100/125
    Cooldown: 30 seconds
Creats 1/2/3 copies of you. Copies are not controllable but will perform everything you do. Each copy deals 15% of your damage and takes 200% damage. When a copy lands after Wings of Liberty ends it will only deal half damage.
Once activated your copies or you are healed to the amount of health which is currently the highest in your party and you instantly swap a place with a random copy (enemies will lose target).
When you are missing an copy (dead) casting this ability will reproduce 1 beside it's heal and swap component.

Use: Boosts your damage and and survivability. Also grants a sort of heal and distracts the enemies.
    Balance: Balance around the numbers.
Notes: Explanation to the Heal: you have currently 500/1000 health, your copy with the highest health has 750/1000. After casting Reproduce you and all copies now have 750/1000 health. This will also work the other way (this mean you are able to heal your copies). When reproducing a new copy this will only be revived with the health of the highest copy or the Spittlebug himself - healing other nearby copies or the Spittlebug to the same amount.
    Visual:
Copies of oneself move around one performing all actions the real units does (with a small delay). The copies have 50% transparency (to self and allies) and look like the original to enemies.
    ___________________________

    How to play him
You can initiate a gank with Wings of Liberty slowing enemies by dropping close to him and then use Overload to unload a bunch of damage.
You can also use Wings of Liberty to escape a gank flying across cliffs or trees.

Nature Affinity will help you to stay in the lane and boosts your surviveablity and damage capability throughout the game. This ability will also help you while Overload is activated to keep up with your enemies.

Your ultimate will help you to survive huge battles and distracts the enemies. Your copies will also perform the double spit, get health regen from Affinity and will all perform the AoE damage once landing after Wings of Liberty. This will make this spell at least much more usefull.

    Pros

    good chase / escape mechanic
huge surviveability (reduced stun / ... time)
    scaling passive
    health regen based on agility

    Cons
    no single target damage spell
    no stun ability
stunable and attackable during Wings of Liberty

    Possible Items
    Enhanced Marchers
    Soulscream Ring
    Alchemist's Bones
    Iron Shield
    Wingbow
    Elder Parasite
    Mock of Brilliance
    Geometer's Bane
    Savage Mace
    Shieldbreaker
    Charged Hammer
    Hack and Slash

You should probably first think of a general theme you're working around. Right now the skills seem a little random. I am picturing a gunslinger currently, armed with two pistols of sorts.

I am not quite sure how the ultimate would work though. The proper name would be "Men in the Mirror" by the way, but how does it work? You say it is passive and active, and from the description I take it the mirror-images are passive and once you activate it you are healed and switch locations?
But wouldn't destroying the mirrors ruin that?

Created by... well me. Click to see the related thread.

Ah, forgot that point with the dying image ^^

Well, from style a just imagined a Reaper like in SC2. But i think this must be changed. Maybe i come up with a bug. Well this also would fit the flight

Okay the theme is original and I do love Starcraft anyways

1st: This skill is nice, has a nice bonus but I think the recoil of attackspeed should be greater and the movement speed shouldn't last the whole duration of the buff, only after attacking.

2nd: I really don't know what kind of name you could input here, you could name it Ascent. Anyways the concept is nice But i think the damage dealt (50) isn't even noticeable and so is the 25. I'm not sure how you wanna tweak it but you shouldn't allign every possible thing to reality. Anyways I like it

3rd: The concept of shorter time for disables is nice, that alone makes it viable. Movement speed I understand but attackspeed comes from how fast the gun shoots, so does damage. Also 100 % chance to do 1.2 damage is actually 20 % increase in totality, might wanna change it a bit.

4th: Kinda weird, images aren't too advisable anymore. They're not awfully creative. You could however relate his ultimate to the ability of the marines back in starcraft. Stimpacking. Possibly a buff in movement speed and other stuff at the cost of taking extra damage.

Anyways I like it in general. T-Up

P.S. Would appreciate some feedback for my new hero the Astral Sentinel

  6. #6
Thanks for your feedback - already posted in your Astral Sentinel Thread but i hadn't much i could concern about ^^

As setting i now prefer the idea to creat a bug. A bug similar to the pestilence - but a 'good' version. I thaught about to let him shot like those giants bugs in starship troopers (whose shot into the sky). That would mean he has to attack with his ... rear part

This rear part would glow before each shot to indicate he is loading up. Visually he could move and act like a scorpion with his tail over his back.

Another idea is a Megaman style hero > this means he would have one muted arm that muted into a energy / plasma cannon. Again with this load up thing.

    Which one would you prefer?

    yay i can post XD

anyways, when i saw a flyable hero i thought maybe like another hero can fly on him so maybe make his flying ability not hit by range attacks but works like a mini version of nymphora (only blink instead of teleport and only on person)so like a .5 channel or less and he blinks away a distance (only it would be him flying up and down) and at the top able to take one person with him tough to coordinate but could be super useful when put in with blink reliant heros as it would save a ton of cash on portal keys

You mean this should be like a transport ability? Nice idea but it wouldn't fit to this tiny hero ^^

cool ideas the first skill looks good pretty balanced and fun. the movement decrease seems fair and is not too high (its pretty low in fact)
the second skill is the most awsome one. Its just fun flying around droping on your enemies. However it needs a bit clarification what skills could hit you while flying. Im also not sure if its a good idea that ranged heroes can hit you. The drop down seems very fun too andis rather original.
I dont like the thrid skill tbh. It feels OP and not synergizing with the other skills.
the Ultimate is fun. i would let the copies deal more damage.

Hm, i'm currently not sure about Wings of Liberty. I thought of giving him a chance to evade all attacks / spells but that he could still be targeted like normal or just to make him immune to everything while the Spell lasts. But with this you could easily escape any gank / ...

Skill 3 seems to be strong yes - but i can't think of a better spell at the moment. When you've an idea - let me know!

    Ultimate: Nnumbers can be changed

Made some changes to Wings of Liberty. During the flight you can't be attacked by spells.
Shall i change this to lets say you can't be stunned / silenced / hold by CC-Spells?

The rest seems fine to me now. Gonna need help with the sound before taking him to the polls.
