My favorite easter egg was pretty much the leeroy jenkins pony in episode 16.
never noticed it untill I saw the thread Benny just linked yesterday while browsing /pony/

The textures are all read from a file called terrain.png located in C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin for windows users.
If you want to get the right colours open the file up in GIMP, take the white one out and put it in a different canvas and use the 'colorify' tool. Give it the right colour by using the eye-drop on your fluttershy image and it should make a nice tiled texture. Copy paste the new colour you got into the respective 16x16 area that you want to change the wool texture for. Don't modify the terrain.png in MSPaint though, because it'll lose the alpha transparency when you save a mess a whole lot of stuff up. It's a good idea to save a backup of terrain.png just in case.
Btw you did an awesome job with the eyes, I couldn't manage to get them to look right on mine.

We actually like it, and are also dead serious. The amount of time people have spent in creating fan music, art, fiction, etc. should attest to that.
I can't think of words to describe why. There's an article on it that does a fairly good job http://republibot.com/content/confound-these-ponies. Of course there's nothing stopping you from watching it to find out for yourself.

It started on 4chan's /co/ board, where people discuss comics and cartoons.
This article ignited peoples initial interest in the show, and a lot of people actually liked it after watching it. from /co/ it went to /b/ after some guys from /co/ decided to create a thread in /b/ about it.
From /b/ it went to sites like Something Aweful, and after the mods got pissed at all the pony spam and started banning, a lot of dedicated pony sites like http://www.ponychan.net/chan/ were created.
The show was created by Lauren Faust, who also worked on the powerpuff girls so thats no suprise.

Is anyone in this thread with 3D modeling and animation skills up to the task of making any of the ponies into couriers? RBD, Fluttershy, and Pinkie could all work as couriers.
Rainbow Dash:
Walking model's wings to be tied with rope so she is forced to play fair ^^. The flying model's speed burst would look great with Rampage's unicorn's rainbow trail.
Fluttershy:
Doesn't really need any special animations, but her bag should be open so its visible that she's carrying a bunny and some carrots with her.
Pinkie Pie:
Bounces everywhere when walking. Flying machine when upgraded.
Just some ideas, but they would be adorable.

I don't know why, I don't know how......but it was actually enjoyable. When I saw the opening I thought to myself "Wow this is going to be really freaking gay"....but as I watched it and let myself just enjoy it.....It was actually very enjoyable. Something about how the ponies talk and act, theirs so much expression in them. I don't know their names but the orange one is def. badass.

Yeah, Applejack (the orange one with the kick ass accent) is my current favorite aswell. they all really grow on you though (even the CMC do, yeah wait till ep 12). And don't worry, you'll know their names in no time!

hmmmm, well I shall DL them all and watch them I guess, thank god I live alone otherwise im sure my previous roommates would question my sexuality.....Until they watched it ofc (Although they would be the type to "act tough" but secretly like it but not admit it).
I always thought it was one of those shows people talk about (for whatever reason) but not actually watch, guess I was wrong. Need some applejack alt icons up in here btw.
