Oh yeah, was gonna comment on that but then I saw the discussion on Applejack and all the random dislikes for different ponies.
Day is almost complete, but it's lacked ponies. MUST REMEDY. I'm feeling Boast Busters since it's been brought up. :P
Well if I was being perfectly honest I couldn't choose a favourite pony. It'd be like choosing between your children! Well... I think it would be. They all bring something to the table that without the show would feel incomplete.

I actually don't think the flutterrage adds depth to her character, for me it just felt like they did it because it'd be funny. But yeah, I agree with Nomes. They all add something to the show, and I love them all.
edit: just wondering, what are your favorite background characters?
I personally dont think the CMC are really BG chars because they have a few of their own episodes, I'm talking Dr. Whooves, Lyra, etc here.

I can respect if someone doesn't like the show, they are entitled to their opinion. But they also shouldn't feel the need to go around comparing it to other shows and questioning the characters' intelligence. :/
