Panty and Stocking are basically Lust and Gluttony.
They are Angels sent to do God's work after being kicked out of heaven.
The show is just really awkward, funny, and well done. I highly recommended it.
Then ending is also just a giant WTF moment. (In more ways than one)

I take Loli's advice in good anime seriously. As I knew what he would say I have the first 3 episodes loading up already.
I got a couple of roommates who had never watched anime before hooked on anime after showing them things from a couple different genres (Panty and Stocking [Humor], Code Geass [Tactical/Political], Toradora! [Love], and Bakemonogatari [Mixed]).

I got back into non 9000 episode anime freshman year of college when a friend recommended Van Dread, Gantz (so I could appreciate why he hates it. Wasted time.), Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Fate/Stay Night. I started Madoka Magicka, probably won't finish it for a while (I like it).
My group of friends got hooked from Neo Genesis Evangelion, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, and The Meloncholy after watching Yu-gi-oh the abridged series. -in America-.
