No Sound

Hi,

I have no sound whatsoever in game, and have tried many things such as control s and control m, and even reinstalling the game. I noticed you requested others to upload the console file, so I figured I should do the same. Thanks

There should be four output devices available to you in the options, have you tried them all?

Yes, I have tried the multiple sound output options, yet none of them do the trick. If it is any help, I was able to hear sounds when I first got the game, then out of the blue it stopped working. I never messed with any of the settings to make it turn out like this.

If you're using headphones, make sure they're plugged in before playing.

Yeah I know pretty unlikely that he'd have no speakers.

Edit: I meant instead of plugging them in after starting HoN.

I actually use speakers most of the time. Still nothing to fix this, haven't had sound for over three weeks now. sadface

Do you have sound in your normal Windows? If yes, try to reinstall hon like this: Uninstall with the wizard. Delete game folder in your documents directory and delete heroes of newerth in your program files directory. Then hopefully after a fresh download/install it should work again. If it does not:
1. select proper sounddevice
2. restart hon
3. ???
4. Profit.

Hey KaZoOoKa, I tried what you said and changed the sound device after install this time and it worked. Not sure why it didn't work the past times I have re-installed, but at least it's working now
