I get the error msg "application failed to initialize..." yadda yadda yadda, which i take to mean just d/l the .NET framework. Problem is, for some VERRRRRY annoying reason, nobody on my network (got a few mates running a lan setup at my flat) can access the microsoft website.... any imput would be MUCH apprecciated, have tried using multiple browsers, I.E, firefox, nothing works just says page not found.
CHEERS FOR ANYTHING HELPING
When i select my HoN path i get "Not attached to a valid HoN install" Can someone help me ?
here (x86). If you want to google for more possible download sites enter ".net framework 2.0 redistributable download".
Tediiieee: Can't help you much from what you're saying.. Go 100% sure the path is correct (not pointing to the \game or \game\mods subdir or to a similarly named folder like the one HoN creates in "My Documents"). If you are using Vista or 7 with UAC enabled and modman is not automatically asking you for admin rights when launched then try launching it as admin.
if there ever will be a mod database implemented (I think you're working on that from the looks of it), would it be possible to add some kind of counter for mod makers to see how many people are using their mods? that would be nice
Custom Player Colors v1.35 - customize the color for each player's slot and yourself
Day Night Cycle Mod v1.3 - adds sounds for dusk and dawn and adds day time tooltip
MiniMap Misclick Manager v1.6.4 - avoid fatal misclicks on the minimap when running back
Multiplayer practice mode - for training and testing with friends
Beginners Guide to make an UI modification
It doesn't work for me. When I doubleklick on HoN_ModMan.exe it just slows down my computer. The only way to end it is to ctrl+alt+delete and close the application. What's wrong?
Works great, thanks

Reliable download counter should be no problem; I'm not working on such a site though - currently I'm merely encouraging other people to do one :P (I might find time to do one myself in 1-3 weeks)
Anyway, just wanted to post a quick update that my computer broke and even though I have a month of holidays now there won't be any updates until I manage to get a new one (might happen tomorrow with a lot of luck, or might happen no sooner than next year with some bad luck).
Nevertheless, have a merry Christmas!
I'd tried to use this before to get BardUI to work but it still doesn't work on my system. I've got Vista x64, the .exe is at
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\hon.exe"
And i've tried running as administrator.
Every time i try to execute "HoN_ModMan.exe" I get a windows error that says "HoN Mod Manager has stopped working" immediately.
Anyone else had this problem or can help me, I've combed my way through these 37 pages and haven't found any solutions. I tried putting the installation directory in "C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\hon.exe" and the program still crashed immediately.
I did notice in the task manager that a process: "microsoft.net error reporting shim" shows up towards the top of the list when i try to run the program. And i tried to update the framework but it is already installed.
Doesnt work anymore. I reinstalled Hon because of a problem and now doesnt work hon modmanger anymore :/
I tried it 20 times but there were no response only a problem with windows (7)
is there a list of which honmods are active and which arent? i added over 5 mods and none of them work? .. i put everything into folder; apply + launch hon but i noticed the mods have a red X on them.. the screenshot of working honmod didnt have this?
