That's not really a good idea... just delete resources999.s2z if you want to get rid of your mods from .honmod.

What is the big problem now? =P

Just copy all mods to /hon folder/game/mods and execute the program. =\

    Im on Windows 7...

Also, is there no way around disabling security features?
Imma just go back to original mods, this is lame if you gotta do these workarounds just for this.
    Its unessisary

If you haven't already noticed, UAC doesn't help all that much other than nag you with "Are you sure you want to do this?" messages, and it blocks writing in 'critical' areas like Program Files. I don't use any antivirus programs and I don't have UAC on, and I haven't had one problem at all yet with windows 7 (after about 4 months+ of usage).

Eh, still though I just dont see why a app this simple needs have security disabled regardless of how meaningless the security is to some users.
Dont get me wrong I can keep my comp safe without it, just seems odd

It should "let you drop" (not display a "not allowed" cursor when dragging files over the window) whenever the HoN path is set correctly.
I have barely any idea of what exactly this UAC voodoo does, but I can tell you that all the program needs is read access to [HoN Path]\hon.exe, [HoN Path]\game\resources0.s2z and [HoN Path]\game\mods (write access for the latter too if you want to be able to drag-drop mods); and write access to [HoN Path]\game\resources999.s2z. If you can sort out these permissions you shouldn't need to run it as admin.

I can run this app on Windows 7 WITH UAC turned on! So it must be something with your pc/installation

HoN is installed in D:\Games\Heroes of Newerth\ and HoN Modman works without problems.

Turn Off UAC, run app as admin or Close hon before running app
