like I said, Sonic, I wasn't trying to shoot you down. I was just trying to give you a helpful suggestion to start from something lower and build your way up. It is understood that you're trying to help, and the help is appreciated, but it will be so much easier for you if you know, rather than taking stabs in the dark.
guys.. i have windows 7 and this app doesnt recognize the version of hon... it detects the mods though, but not hon.
Anyone know what might be happening?
I'm currently using this folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth
Whit this folder, it recognizes the mods, but when i use this one:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game
an error occurs and it says this:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
You can't run modman while hon is running.

im not a 13 year old omgkthx boy...
i am going through everystep, and followed every post of this thread, and none gets close to the problem im having.
Yes i do have a hon.exe in my folder.
no, im not running hon while i use the app.
The thing is that the app creates a path that doesn't exist. I have tried putting the required file that is resourcez2 or whatever in the folder that the app tells me to, but then again, it creates another path like this
C:\Program Files (x86)\Heroes of Newerth\game\game
TUB is appearing not at the top most side of my window =\ I'm using 16:10 ratio!

Ok, here is the deal guys. Ive instaled the ModMan, and the interface to call the miss and returns, but neighter have worked. I've done just like its said in here, on the right folders and stuff... Anyone could give me a hand?
Yeah, i've tryed to open the game, then open ModMan, aply mods, and play. Fail.
Then i've tryed to open the game by the ModMan itself(Aply Mods and Lauch HoN), fail again.
The ModMan is giving me a message now.
"Could not detect Heroes of Newerth version. Version checks has been disabled".
Maybe thats the problem?
Hmm... run program as adm. =\

so does this program update the mods or do we still have to download the new .hon files?
oh okay i misunderstood this actually doesn't do crap
i thought it automagicallyupdated every patch all the .hon mods

Well-coded modman mods should not need updating - all you need to do is execute the "apply mods" once again after patching the game.
So, should i try to get another modman? Mine is still not working... =/
Til i see all honmods converted I'll continue using WLT's witch continues to be the best out:
WLT's updated
