    Eternal Soul

    Eternal Soul

    Story : During the war between the Human Legion and the Beast Horde, there was hatred in the air. The gods of Newerth decided to punish their creations, by creating the Eternal Soul, doomed to roam the Earth forever, seeking out souls to destroy. Unknown of it's purpose, the Eternal Soul wishes only to end it's eternal suffering, by stopping the hatred in the World. Realizing that the Hellbourne provides only more hatred and suffering, the Eternal Soul joins the Legion, in a quest to destroy itself and it's meaningless eternal life.

    Skills :

    1. Chilling Blade
    Passive, Target Self
    All enemies will learn to fear the Eternal Soul's blade as it plunges its blade into the hearts it's enemies, leeching their will and spirit.
    Effects :
    -Eternal Soul's damage(including skills) is increased by 1.2/1.3/1.45/1.5*.
    -Eternal Soul releases a soul from his empty scar into his enemy, slowing the target down and increasing their mana cost by 5/6/7.5/10%. Stacks 4/6/7/8 times.
    -Drains 1/2/4/5 of Eternal Soul's mana for every time Eternal Soul strikes an enemy.
    Balance :
    -This skill increases Eternal Soul's damage quite significantly(Example - With his base damage at 46 to 50, with level 1 Chilling Blade, Eternal Soul's damage will be raised to 55 to 60.) and the slow can make escape harder for the enemy, at the cost of it's mana, which is extremely important and valuable due to his small mana pool.
    Synergy :
    -This skill works well with Eternal Soul's other skills like Soul Scream and Hand of Death really well because of the damage overtime. With damage overtime, Eternal Soul will be able to deal more bonus damage than a one hit skill, therefore dealing more damage to the enemy.
    -This skill works well as a team skill, and is able to make Eternal Soul a deadly last-hitter in the team. With Eternal Soul's fast attack speed, fast movement speed and this skill, Eternal Soul can deal a lot of damage as it chases the enemy down, and with the slow effect,becomes a really good last-hitter.
    Visual :
    -Once Chilling Blade is learnt, there will be a blue-ish aura around Eternal Soul's right arm, and the same blue-ish aura will be exerting and pulsing from the blade on Eternal Soul's right arm.
    -Once Chilling Blade is learnt, when Eternal Soul attacks, there will be pulse of blue flame that surrounds the target for 0.5 seconds. Eternal Soul will also look like it is releasing a grey-ish soul into the target's body, illuminating the target with a grey-ish glow.
    -Once Chilling Blade is learnt, when Eternal Soul kills a target, there will be a blue flame which burns away the target's body, and releases a torrent of blue-ish soul into the air.

    2. Void
    Target Ground
    Mana Cost : 60/95/150/190
    Cooldown : 30/28/26/25 seconds
    Cast Range : 400/415/420/425
    Area : 160/200/240/300
    Cast time(Wind-up) : 1.5/1.35/1.25/1 seconds
    Unable to live with the feeling of nothingness alone, Eternal Soul releases a void of nothingness at the target area, damaging all(including allies) in the area for 60/90/130/160 magic damage, and creates an alternate dimension for 3/3.75/4.25/5 seconds.
    Effects :
    -Deals 60/90/130/160 magic damage to all(including a 50/52.5/53/55% reduced damage to allies, though only deals damage up until they remain with 10% health) in the target area.
    -For every unit in target area, raises 3/4.5/5/7.5% chance to slow enemies in target area by 1/2 their movement speed for 1/2/2.5/3 seconds.
    -Void lasts for 3/3.75/4.25/5 seconds, and can only be entered by Eternal Soul. All units in Void will be stunned and silenced.
    Balance :
    -This skill deals average damage for a skill at the cost of a considerable amount of mana from Eternal Soul's mana pool. Has an average cooldown time and quite a large radius, and has a considerably significant amount of time for stun and silence to account for the lack of damage and the high mana cost.
    Synergy :
    -This skill works well with Eternal Soul's other skills, as it performs as an initiation attack due to it's stun. After this skill, Eternal Soul can then perform Soul Scream and slow the enemies, and then perform Hand of Death to kill a target hero. In the meantime, Eternal Soul's Chilling Blade is also dealing bonus damage to the enemy.
    -This skill works well as a team play attack due to it's stun and chance for slow, and can be very useful for your allies if they want to escape from the battlefield quickly.
    Visual :
    -When Eternal Soul is winding up for this skill, it will appear to shimmer and pulse with a bright blue light, and faces upwards with it's hands at spread out to the sides as if it was welcoming the rain.
    -When Eternal Soul unleashes Void, Eternal Soul will lurch forward with the blue pulse spreading out into air, then vanishing.
    -When Eternal Soul unleashes Void, the target area will seem to shimmer and bend, and a dark void with stars within it will appear in the middle of the target area, with an outline of shining blue aura.
    -When Void ends it's stun, blue lightning will seem to strike the void from nowhere, and the Void will appear to absorb the lightning and itself into nothingness, vanishing after a short period of time.

    3. Soul Scream
    Area around Self
    Mana Cost : 15/20/25/40 per scream
    Cooldown : 40/38/37/35 seconds
    Area : 250/275/290/300
    Cast time(Wind-up) : 1.25/1/0.85/0.5 seconds
    Throwing back it's head, Eternal Soul screams with agony, terrifying all that hears it's scream. Damages all enemies in proximity of Eternal Soul by 30/50/75/100 magic damage per scream for a total of 1/2/2/3 screams for every enemy in Eternal Soul's line of sight and proximity. Slows and silences the enemies in range for 2/2.5/3/4 seconds.
    Effect :
    -Damages all enemies in proximity of Eternal Soul by 30/50/75/100 magic damage per scream.
    -Gains 1/2/2/3 screams for every enemy in Eternal Soul's line of sight(Range of 400/450/510/600) and proximity(Area 250/275/290/300) during the time of activation.*Skill stops if Eternal Soul cannot support the mana cost.
    -Screams are performed consecutively, and only targets those which were in the target area during the time of activation. Each scream lasts for 0.5 seconds.
    -Slows all enemies in range for 2/2.5/3/4 seconds. Does not stack, but refreshes.
    -Silences all enemies in range for 2/2.5/3/4 seconds. Does not stack, but refreshes.
    -If Eternal Soul runs out of mana before the skill is over, it will receive the remaining damage.
    -Cooldown can be reduced by the amount of enemies in the area, reducing the cooldown time by 2 seconds for every enemy in the target area.
    Balance :
    -This skill is extremely useful due to the fact that Eternal Soul is a melee hero, and has the potential to deal a lot of damage at the cost of a lot of mana. Though strong, when used with lack of mana, can kill itself. The fact that it can be used with a shorter cooldown can be useful at times, but if there are a lot of enemies, spamming will not be a good idea due to the side effect of Eternal Soul receiving all remaining damage if it's mana pool cannot support it.
    Synergy :
    -This skill works well with Eternal Soul's other skills due to the damage overtime, which works well with Chilling Blade, and the slow and silence effect, which can be used as an interim skill between Void and Hand of Death.
    -This skill works well as a team play skill due to the slow and silence effect, which can be used for initiation ganking or quick escape for your allies.
    -This skill works well as a team play skill due to the reduced cooldown, and can be spammed on enemies as long as Eternal Soul can support the mana cost.
    Visual :
    -When Eternal Soul is winding up for this skill, the targeted area will release torrents of blue-ish souls.
    -When Eternal Soul unleashes this skill, the targeted area will crackle with blue lightning as Eternal Soul throws it's head back with it's hands spread out at it's sides, screaming with agony.
    -When struck by Soul Scream, enemies will tremble and shimmer with blue lightning surrounding their body.
    -When Eternal Soul is forced to stop Soul Scream prematurely, there will be a large blue lightning that strikes Eternal Soul, and then surrounds Eternal Soul for 1 second before striking upwards into the air.

    4. Hand of Death
    Target Enemy
    Mana Cost : 190/280/320
    Cooldown : 200/180/170 seconds
    Cast Range : 600/650/700
    Cast time(Channel) : 1.5/1.45/1.25 seconds
    To stop the hatred and pain inflicting the world, Eternal Soul uses it's secret weapon, it's Hand of Death, to grab at it's enemy and suck the essence of life from it. Deals 35/40/45 magic damage per second for 3.5/5.5/7 seconds. Hand of Death will draw the enemy towards Eternal Soul at the rate of 50 per second, and will deal an extra of 20 magic damage for every 50 distance covered. Once Hand of Death stops drawing the enemy towards Eternal Soul, the target and all enemies in 200 range around it will receive 25/30/40% damage of the damage dealt while target was under the effects of Hand of Death.
    Effects :
    -Deals 35/40/45 magic damage per second for 3.5/5.5/7 seconds.
    -Draws target enemy towards Eternal Soul at the rate of 50 distance per second, dealing an extra 15 damage per second for every 50 distance travelled.
    -After the effects of Hand of Death, all enemies in 200 area around the target(excludes the target) will receive 25/30/40% damage of the damage dealt while the target was under the effects of Hand of Death, stunning for 4/4.75/5 seconds(includes the target).
    -Hand of Death : Stuns and silences for 3.5/5.5/7 seconds.
    -Eternal Soul receives 250/230/200% more damage while channeling with Hand of Death in effect(not while channeling before Hand of Death is casted).
    -Hand of Death can be stopped at any time during the channel, stopped by commanding Eternal Soul to execute an attack or movement. If stopped prematurely, the after effect of Hand of Death still applies, and the remaining damage will be dealt to Eternal Soul instead.
    -Eternal Soul will not be able to use any items or passive effects while channeling Hand of Death, and all items in effect will be stopped prematurely.
    Balance :
    -This skill is a very powerful skill in one-on-one situations, and deals a lot of damage for a considerable amount of mana. As an ultimate attack, Hand of Death has a long cooldown, and with the amplified damage while channeling, will be potentially fatal at times, especially in team play.
    Synergy :
    -This skill works well with all of Eternal Soul's other skills, and is a very powerful finisher for one-on-one situations.
    -This skill works well as a team skill, and can be performed as a powerful disposal of an enemy hero. During team play, Hand of Death can be performed so that you can take care of the main enemy hero(strongest, more skilled) while you allies protect you and take care of the rest.
    Visual :
    -While channeling before the activation of Hand of Death, Eternal Soul will appear to hold it's left arm, and blue lightning will strike from the sky to it's arm.
    -When Eternal Soul unleashes the Hand of Death, there will be a green hand surrounded by blue pulses that will extend towards the target, with a blue wavy tentacle connecting the hand to Eternal Soul. Eternal Soul will appear like holding a gun at the target enemy, and will be surrounded by blue light while channeling.
    -When the Hand of Death arrives at the target enemy, it will grapple at the target and surround it with a blue-ish glow and green tentacles. The target will seem to struggle and blue-ish souls will consistently come out of the target's body.
    -When the effects of Hand of Death is over, the hand will explode with red blood, and a blue hand will go back to Eternal Soul's left arm. The target will be consumed with blue lightning, along with the enemies that are affected by the explosion.

    That is Eternal Soul, so give me your thoughts and feedbacks, and I will try my best to improve this hero and hopefully see it on HoN.=)

    i like the concept but as for skill two it might cause some hardcore greifing from people, one of my questions about it is would it kill an ally hero or mearly take them to the lowest health (1) but never killing blow, maybe increase the slow per people in area (only ally) so it would give them more reason to be ready for a push and only damages herself

    if i misineterpreted her please correct me and i will re-read and try to help more XD

    for the ulti i do agree with making her take increased danage to balance it but this could make it a tough move to use unless it is

    A. a gank

    or

    B. a 1v1 sitation in which you gained the advantage, the fact though is that people would see the channel and have an attack ready to just destroy her or break the channel becasue of having to run away, good idea but could use some polish

    keep working though i like the concept and you will def get a yes vote from me as she gets better

    ok it is realy hard to read these. i cant tell what the powers actually do. you need to rewrite this so its simple to read. id love to help you but i just cant tell what the powers do.

    ok i can read it a bit better:

    first off why is he a good guy if he was born from the fighting of the legon? make him bord from the slaughter of the hellborn and he makes more sence.

    1st: so a bonus of magic daamge to attacks and 1.5 times damage form spells? well seeing as his strongest can do 400 thats 600 damage so i guess its ok. personally i dont like this power, all his other spells require this one to be effective.

    2nd: so creates a area no one can enter, great for stopping a escape or blocking chasers, i dont like the damage to allies thow.

    3rd: a scream of damage to units around him that does more per enemys...could be better.

    ulti: so a pull of a unit twards you for 6 sec, like electricians?

    i think this could be so much better. first the theme of powers...well i cant tell what they are, so what is it and ill give you some ideas for how to make this guy better.

    well, this guy is mainly a one-on-one hero, who can help allies escape from the battle. he is a high damaging hero with small mana pool that can support one-of hits.

    this guy is also, like, a major harrasser, and pwns in pretty much the whole game if used properly. he is not a spell spammer, and is like an initiator.

    ok so a initiator agi hero.

    void: so lets simplify this power to be a better trap. it would be a big sphere where no one but eternal could enter, it would last about as long as behemoths wall power. any unit in it would be pushed to the closest side. it would not do damage but be a great trapping power and escapeing power.

    Soul Scream: ok lets change this a bit as well. it would be a relativly weak and cheap scream with a .25 sec stun, but with a 10 sec cooldown. for every unit hit by the power the cooldown is lowered 1 sec, so if its a big fight it can be spammed a lot.

    Chilling blade: well it is rather unneeded. how about this:
    Soul Slash: toggelable, every attack will send a soul from his body costing mana. the extra soul will weight down a enemy couseing all powers to cost more mana and they will most and attack slower, however the less souls will do the opposite to you. it can only stack a fiew times.

    Ulti: I realy dont like that ulti. here is a idea for a good power to start off a fight.
    Spirit Wave: think of soul slash but it will send souls out that will find there own target enemy heroes. it stack with the 3rd ability so you cant use both to have super cheap spells and be very fast. however you can stack 3rd to make this spell cheaper or vise versa.

    Very nice hero but found his ult to be WAY 2 OP at the level 3
    7(s)x75=525
    7(s) push towards you dealing 20 damge per sec for every 50 pulled=560 damage
    525+560=1085+40%=1519 on a single target
    and 434 in an 200 area

    A pulling Disable that lasts 7 secs dealing 1519 damage on a single target?make a team with succubus and youre done WAY 2 OP i know the downside but think if you make a portal key teleport yourself to the forest and ult? that's one player down for SURE

    So about the hero itself:

    Story is weak.

    1st spell: so far seems kinda "meh" bt I'll wait to see how it synergizes.

    2nd spell: Interesting spell. Unique, I like it. Maybe the stun is too much.

    3rd spell: Not sure what it does, you scream then if enemies are nearby you scream again? Or does it "resonate" like behemoth's ult?

    Ult: So it's like Succubus's ult fusion with a reverted version of electrician's spell.

    Seems strong as **** but I believe it can be balanced.

    I am still not sure of what to vote, convince me.

    so i should tone down my ulti and 2nd spell, make my 3rd skill a bit more clear, and to change my story and 1st skill?
