    Arrow King Bolete (Support)

    Reposted this because i think this hero should hav been strength just need some help with a new ultimate (kept the old one but need a alternative and a vote for it)

    Hero Background

    Here is a little bit of a background on this hero. It's name is King Bolete (also known as the king of the mushrooms) and if you're wondering "King Bolete" is actually a type of mushroom, hence the name.


    Model


    Clearly the intent is for the model to be of a mushroom man of some sort. Perhaps the stem as most of the body with no head and the mushroom-like cap above the facial features (eyes, mouth). Arms and legs can be extended out from the stem obviously. Also, small mini-mushroom clusters in random places along his body, arms and legs.

    Story Line:

    King Bolete was once the leader of a secret nation of mushrooms hidden deep in the forests of Caldavar. When his home was ravaged by the war and the forests burned by Pyromancers he swore revenge on them and joined forces with the Hellbourne to spread his spores as far as possible.

    Skills



    Skill 1// Shroom Cap: Applies a helmet made of mushroom to the head of a unit. Allied units will be healed and gain armor for a period of time. Enemy units will be damaged and lose armor for a period of time. Not only will it damage them for a short period of time it will minus a certain amount of regen per a level.

    level 1
    When applied to allies it adds 3 armor and 2 health regeneration for 10 seconds.
    When applied to enemies it will damage them for 20 health per second and lower their armor by 3 for 5 seconds.
    Mana cost is 75.Cooldown is 30 seconds. Reduces enemy regeneration by 2.

    level 2
    When applied to allies it adds 5 armor and 3 health regeneration for 20 seconds.
    When applied to enemies it will damage them for 30 health per second and lower their armor by 5 for 5 seconds.
    Mana cost is 115. Cooldown is 25 seconds. Reduces enemy regeneration by 3.

    level 3
    When applied to allies it adds 7 armor and 4 health regeneration for 30 seconds.
    When applied to enemies it will damage them for 40 health per second and lower their armor by 7 for 5 seconds.
    Mana cost is 150. Cooldown is 20 seconds. Reduces enemy regeneration by 4.

    level 4
    When applied to allies it adds 9 armor and 5 health regeneration for 40 seconds.
    When applied to heroes it will damage them for 50 health per second and lower their armor by 9 for 5 seconds.
    Mana cost is 180. Cooldown is 20 seconds. Reduces enemy regeneration by 5.




    Skill 2// Shroom Trap: The shrooms rise from beneath the ground surrounding anyone within the area for a period of time. (NOTE that the shrooms can be destroyed or eaten by runes of blight, skill does not immobilize) When a shroom is destroyed or eaten, Gaseous Blow (if learned) will activate in an AoE from the destroyed shroom's position.

    level 1
    Range of 300. Lasts 2 seconds. Mana Cost is 100. Cooldown is 50 seconds. An AoE of 150

    level 2
    Range of 400. Lasts 3 seconds. Mana Cost is 130. Cooldown is 40 seconds. An AoE of 190

    level 3
    Range of 500. Lasts 3.5 seconds. Mana Cost is 150. Cooldown is 35 seconds. An AoE of 240

    level 4
    Range of 600. Lasts 4 seconds. Mana Cost is 190. Cooldown is 30 seconds. An AoE of 300





    Skill 3// (would like name help for this skill) Virulent Burst (passive): When King Bolete kills a unit, the dying unit releases a gas causing surrounding units to be poisoned and slowed. (effect goes off when ever a unit is killed by this hero)

    Poisons in an AoE of 200. Slows for 7% movement speed and does 8 damage per second for 5 seconds.
    Not Stack-able

    level 2
    Poisons in an AoE of 250. Slows for 9% movement speed and does 16 damage per second for 6 seconds.
    Not Stack-able

    level 3
    Poisons in an AoE of 275. Slows for 13% movement speed and does 20 damage per second for 7 seconds.
    Not Stack-able


    level 4
    Poisons in an AoE of 300. Slows for 15% movement speed and does 25 damage per second for 8 seconds.
    Not Stack-able




    Ultimate// Spore Haze: King Bolete releases a cloud of spores in a targeted AoE area causing enemies within to be slowed and take damage over time. Hits invisible units and reveals them until the effect is removed or finishes.


    level 1
    AoE of 350. Slows 9% of movement speed. Remains for 10 seconds after leaving area and does 45 damage per second with an extra 10 damage while still inside the cloud. Mana cost is 275. Cooldown is 120 seconds. Cloud lasts 15 seconds.


    level 2
    AoE of 550. Slows 13% of movement speed. Remains for 10 seconds after leaving area and does 55 damage per second with an extra 15 damage while still inside the cloud. Mana cost is 325. Cooldown is 160 seconds. Cloud lasts 20 seconds.


    level 3
    AoE of 620. Slows 20% of movement speed. Remains for 10 seconds after leaving area and does 65 damage per second with an extra 20 damage while still inside the cloud. Mana cost is 425. Cooldown is 200 seconds. Cloud lasts 20 seconds.

    1st: i still say take away enemy regeneration for a longer time over hurting them for a short time. consider adding the effect that a unit dieing with cap will reliese the cloud from 3rd power.

    2nd: good

    3rd: id increase the slow to 10%-15% thats not much of a slowing effect.

    ulti: again slow is to small, rest is real good.

    its a good holding power but heroes like electrician have even better ones. its fine.

    I really like the concept. You could easily Trap them, Cap em, Cut down a shroom to poison them and attack or use the ulti while still blocking the path. Synergizes unexpectedly well with each other if you think about it a bit. T-Up

    P.S. You could possibly name the 3rd skill Virulent Burst

    Btw once you get enough feedback you should remake the thread changing it into a binary poll Meaning Yes/No only

    Btw I think the AoE on the Ulti is too big. 900 Is massive. If you've ever seen Hellbringers stun radius. It's only 600. lol

    perhaps u shld compare it with Slither's ulti instead. cuz well, hellbringer's ulti has a stun. o; then again, this ulti has a slow. @.@
