    Don't know why enemy ward was revealed

    Alright, so i didn't notice this while i was playing, but a friend who watched the replay, creep, noticed it. at 46:31(replay timer) 43:41(ingame) we randomly get sight of an enemy ward placed on the ramp leading to mid next to kongor.

    no one had a bound eye nor was their a rev ward placed anywhere, ramp had dust but did not activate it. only thing i can think of is that flux's ult somehow revealed it, and if it did, should it have had? or i could be overlooking something that's right in front of me. either way fresh eyes are needed!

    Ive noticed flux ulti reveals a magmus steambathing without actually cancelling his steambath

    this happens when scout is also invis...after flux ult u get vision of hero like tb's ult

    Because it does not stun

    Pretty funny with temp ulti cause he continue channel it 800 units away

    They made flux's ult not cancel channeling spells coz that would be op. Global + channeling cancel isn't going to happen.

    The ult used to ministun in dota though, but they removed that too.

    Flux's ult reveals in the same fashion that thunderbringer does, so if a ward was revealed this may mean there is an aoe to this reveal?

    Needs verification.

    It can cancel single-target channels because you have to be within X range with respect to a target to continue the channel. Except with Electrician's Q. Only condition is whether or not they'll get blocked by terrain and not go the full distance.

    Is it intended that the vision doesn't follow targets of the ultimate? Would seem more useful if it were to follow at until the push / pull is over.

    Yes it does. I was kinda confused yesterday when my ulti got canceled since i thought Flux doesn't stun or interrupts channeling spells. could be that it is because you really have to be in a certain range to do your ulti or whatever

    Idk why sometimes I've seen a ward reveal itself for 0.00001 sec and I counterward there and it was in the exact position, dunno why :S

    I've noticed this too. I've also caught invisible heroes once or twice because they would show for a split second and then disappear without any vision. I think it has something to do with a change made to fog of war, although I can't really give much more than that. All I know is that sometimes when you reveal (walk over, getting rid of fog of war,) an area that has an invisible unit/object it seems that there's a glitch where it appears for a split second as though you're being given the position by the server BEFORE you're given the data that tell you if its invisible or not.

    I may be completely out to lunch with my theory, but I do know I've seen that happen, same as what you've described.

    Everytime a ward expires, it's shown to both teams un-invisible for a split second, checked for both wards; ontop of this, whenever a hero turns invisible anywhere on the map there is a glitch that has the icon on the map in a random location (often one of the corners), I've seen this hundreds of times. I'm unsure about your theory of entering a new area as I've yet to witness this... (in 1800+ games played, it's surprising if I haven't seen something that common to happen.)

    All channeling spells have a range at which they stop working. It is always (EU correct me if I'm wrong) higher thank the cast range.
