There have been very few entries this week and I have not been able to participate on my own due to a changed and filled schedule in the holidays here.

I guess we should discuss or vote the next theme. Like that we would have a larger base of artists who are willing to work on the theme

I think all of the sotw should have a discussion phase, so we know how many participats it will have, and how is the theme comming out (maybe sometimes it needs a change or a tweak)

Also, I don't think knowing the entries owners would affect voting, since we're all aware that we are voting on the art itself.

In the results post there should be place for next contest suggestions. I don't think only the winner should provide next theme (unless there are no suggestions).

I think we are getting into a new version of sotw, so we can stop calling it reloaded and go for sotw2.0 or sotw III.

Maybe we should change it from Sigs to general art? Still theme based but you can do whatever you're best at.
If not, then I like Av's suggestion above.

I am fine with everything that might bring life back to the sotw like it used to be from time to time. Right now we are pretty much running on empty.

Maybe we just change it back for just being signature of the week or sotw. I hope to see more artists posting and share their opinions with us.

Ive done a couple of pieces on here before, I think my portfolio is still somewhere in the section on some distant page.

Haven't been doing sigs for a while but I be glad to get back into it

I guess we have to step down from a weekly basis to something longer to check whether we will have enough people like right now.

To be fair, as well as contests which are always fun, you can have weekly general "themes" where we choose a theme and just make sigs that fit it - not necessarily to compete.

Anyways, I would like to tell all you artists here about a GFX site that I belong to. The site is BlackSun GFX and it is one of the premier GFX sites around, currently ranked number 1 on TopSigSites. I know this seems like a shameless plug but all I am trying to do is show you the way to an active GFX community. I am not saying that you should leave here and never return but that BlackSun is somewhere that you should check out. We have thousands of tutorials, weekly competitions, an active user base, and a comprehensive Interns Program.

My name there is CygnusOmega and I am the Super Moderator and Admin. So please, come on by and at least check it out.

P.S. I am pretty sure that Sye has an account there too but I cannot recall the name right now.

This is more or less written as an advertisment and does not really contribute to the discussion we are having. You cannot compare a game community with a community made for GFX stuff, that is out of the question.
On the other hand I will tolerate this for now as you can learn a bunch on those forums even without registering as the tutorials are free.
I can only give you the advice to register there to ask questions if you have any.

I mean, if somebodye is interested in GFX forums, he will search and find some in his own way. what i'm trying to say is that you don't come to HON forums for advertising another website, kinda basic forum rule.
